When she went downstairs, Lady Hyde had already finished breakfast, but she was still sitting in a chair in the dining room. Seeing her come in, she greeted her with a smile, "Iris, come have some porridge."

Iris took a glance; the plump and translucent white fungus floated in the thick, clear broth adorned with a few red dates and goji berries, looking very appetizing.
Iris picked up the spoon, lowering her head to drink the soup. Lady Hyde used clean chopsticks to place some soup dumplings and shumai on the plate in front of her, looking at her kindly, "Eat while it's hot. These are all your favorites. The meat in the soup dumplings was freshly chopped by the chef early this morning, very fresh."
