Mu Yan was already sleepy, and after being bothered by someone for half the day, she fell asleep within minutes after closing her eyes.
But in the middle of the night, she suddenly felt like she couldn't breathe.
She opened her eyes, consciousness returning, and felt someone holding her, gently kissing her face.
"Husband?" she called out.
The person beside her froze, then said, "Did I wake you up?"
"No, why aren't you asleep yet?" Mu Yan asked, raising her hand to touch his cheek, noticing the sweat on his forehead.
But the room wasn't hot; it even had a slight chill.
She thought of a possibility and asked, "Husband, are you feeling unwell?"
"No, I just had a nightmare," Jiang Jingheng replied softly.
"What kind of dream?" Mu Yan asked instinctively.
"Nothing, be good, go back to sleep."
Mu Yan frowned slightly; breaking out in a cold sweat and saying it's nothing, plus he was holding her so tightly, how could she sleep?
