Although he had been given anesthesia, perhaps it hadn't taken effect yet. Zhuang Shaoyang truly felt the piercing sensation of the needle; the pain was excruciating, and he was sweating from his forehead. Yet, Ouyang had a calm and leisurely demeanor.
It was just six stitches, and they were done quickly.
Ouyang instructed the nearby female nurse, "Pass on the rest of the precautions to him."
After speaking, he turned and left.
"Take care, Doctor Ouyang," the nurse said, and immediately started explaining to Zhuang Shaoyang about abstaining from spicy, irritating foods, among other things.
Zhuang Shaoyang recovered from the recent rush of pain and looked at the door, lost in thought.
If someone didn't know better, they'd think Doctor Ouyang had a vendetta against him.
Back in the office, Ouyang immediately called Kong Lizhen.
"Zhenzhen, I've been busy since this morning and just found a moment to call you. Do you miss me?"
