Early in the morning, Lin Jiamu drove over to pick up Mu Yan.
In the car, Mu Yan looked at the driver and said, "I can go by myself, there's no need for you to trouble yourself to pick me up."
"I'm afraid someone might say one thing and do another," Lin Jiamu snorted lightly.
"Cough, cough..." Mu Yan feigned a cough and looked out the car window.
She happened to see a jewelry store by the roadside, her heart stirred.
Soon, the car stopped outside a private clinic in the community.
This place wasn't in the city center, it wasn't crowded, relatively secluded.
Mu Yan got out of the car with Lin Jiamu, and they went in together.
Lin Jiamu walked over to the reception, took off his sunglasses, and said to the receptionist, "Is Doctor Xu in? I have an appointment with him at ten today."
The receptionist smiled and said, "Mr. Lin, this way please."
"Thank you."
Lin Jiamu nodded, glanced at Mu Yan, and they both followed the receptionist forward.
