After several sleepless nights, Mu Yan slept until it was dark.
She touched the spot next to her; it was cold.
She remembered he had come back, she cried a mess in his arms, then he slept with her.
But now he wasn't there. Could all of this have been a dream?
Her heart was a bit flustered, she threw off the covers, got out of bed, and ran downstairs.
Jiang Jingheng came out of the kitchen and saw her rushing down the stairs, asking, "What's wrong?"
Seeing him, Mu Yan's heart, which was suspended, instantly settled.
She stopped, pursed her lips, and quietly said, "I woke up and didn't see you, I thought I was dreaming."
Jiang Jingheng walked up to her, bent down, and kissed her on the lips, "Does it feel real now?"
Mu Yan looked at him, nodding repeatedly, her clear eyes sparkling brightly.
Jiang Jingheng held her hand and said softly, "Dinner is ready, come eat."
"Okay."
Mu Yan followed him to the dining table.
