Mu Yan felt a wave of relief wash over her upon hearing that familiar voice.
She spoke with surprise, "Why are you here?"
With a "click," the room light turned on.
Jiang Jingheng walked over and sat down beside her, raising his hand to touch her cheek, "What do you think?"
His hand was somewhat cold, carrying a hint of chill, indicating he probably hadn't been there long.
Mu Yan certainly knew he came for her.
She pursed her lips, held his hand, and softly said, "I'm fine, it's just a cold."
Jiang Jingheng's light brown eyes were full of warmth, "If you don't want me to worry, take better care of yourself."
Mu Yan pursed her lips again, "Got it."
"The doctor will be here soon. Grab a bite to eat first. What do you want?" Jiang Jingheng asked.
Mu Yan shook her head, "I don't want to eat anything."
Jiang Jingheng gave her a cool glance, "What did you just say?"
Mu Yan obediently responded, "I'll eat anything, you decide."
