Mu Yan's current web series project is a time travel story called "Doted Princess." The female lead, a gourmet, transmigrates into the body of the Fourth Princess of Dragon Country. The Fourth Prince keeps a low profile, convinced that the female lead is a pawn placed by her family to spy on him, and is therefore quite cold to her.
However, the female lead is carefree and loves all kinds of pleasures, especially skilled in cooking. She eventually wins over the Fourth Prince's heart with her culinary delights, stands by him as they face external enemies together, and in the end, the Fourth Prince conquers the kingdom. She becomes his one and only, and lives a happy life.
Mu Yan found this kind of 'Mary Sue' script quite amusing.
Given it's a web series, the production budget was definitely not high. But Mu Yan didn't expect it to be this rudimentary. As the female lead, she only had three outfits: one for sleeping, one for the court, and one for casual wear.
