Mark raised his hand to ruffle Arnold's hair, speaking in an uncompromising tone: "You don't need to worry about Ethan; I will go find him!"
Arnold: "But..."
"No buts!" Mark's hand landed on Arnold's soft cheek and gave it a gentle pinch, "Listen to me on this one, okay."
"Oh." Arnold agreed helplessly, looking at Mark, "How about I go home and ask my grandparents and mom to help me talk to Elder Moore, take a roundabout approach?"
Mark nodded, "That's not a bad idea."
After reaching an agreement, Mark drove Arnold back home.
