Hearing Alice Sutton's low, mocking laugh and realizing her thoughts, Arnold coldly continued, "Don't think just because I'm blind, I'm helpless against you."
As Arnold spoke, he hurled the sharpened stick he held in his hand with great force.
The stick traced an arc in the air before piercing the ground between Alice Sutton's legs, right next to her thigh.
Alice Sutton stared in shock at the stick embedded deeply in the ground between her legs, its end still trembling. Her body turned cold, and cold sweat immediately formed on her forehead.
If it weren't for the fright she had received from Mark earlier... Arnold's move would have certainly left the ground beneath her once again drenched.
Arnold looked in Alice Sutton's direction and coldly said, "Now you understand? When I want to kill you, it has nothing to do with my eyes!"
Just because she was taken hostage once, did they think she was powerless, unable to kill him again?
