While Valery is usually a bit willful, she always knows her limits. How could she possibly offend Young Master Morris and hit his people?...
Just as Benedict was pondering whether Valery could have possibly hit Young Master Morris's woman, Malcom Moore's cold voice sounded again, "Oh, by the way, Secretary Owens, there's something I'd like to ask you."
Benedict opened his mouth in a daze, "Go ahead, Young Master Morris."
"Hmph!" Malcom let out a cold snort and then questioned, in a low, slow-paced yet extremely chilly voice, "Secretary Owens, is the police station in River City privately owned by the Owens family? Or is it that your family runs it specifically to abuse private law? To the point where they can let your family members act so audaciously, framing and ordering people to beat others at will?"
