Marianne Jackson quickly shook her head.
Koa Jackson understood naturally, and after a momentary pause, he sneered lightly with a slight curve at the corner of his lips.
Marianne had said everything she wanted to say, pressing her lips together, not daring to make a sound.
She looked tense and apprehensive.
Koa curled the hand hanging at his side slightly and asked calmly, "Want to be with him?"
Marianne looked at him in surprise, not understanding.
"Speak."
"Hmm."
Koa nodded, "Then do as I say."
Marianne stared at him as if dumbfounded.
What does this mean?
Is he going to help her?
How could it be possible, she looked at Koa, completely in disbelief.
Koa, however, didn't care what she was thinking, took a moment to ponder, and then said two sentences with a calm voice.
Marianne was taken aback, "Like this?"
"Yes." Koa replied expressionlessly, "Any problem?"
"No." Marianne reflexively shook her head, still somewhat bewildered.
