Or perhaps, a pawn!
Simply outrageous...
Outrageous!
Zuri Ginger thought angrily. As soon as she entered the room, she dashed into the bathroom and swept all the bottles and jars off the counter with a single motion.
"Sister?"
Bob Ginger, who was passing by the door, heard the noise and immediately pushed open the door to call out.
A burst of broken sobbing came from the bathroom.
He pushed the door open and saw Zuri Ginger sitting on the floor.
Her back was against the wall, her face full of tears, sitting amidst the scattered bottles and jars on the floor, her upturned face showing a despair and loss he had never seen before.
"Who's bullying you again?" Bob Ginger asked angrily.
Zuri Ginger lowered her head and said nothing.
"Did Dad scold you? I'll go talk to him!" Bob Ginger turned around furiously.
"Don't," Zuri Ginger suddenly stood up and hugged him tightly from behind, "Don't go. If you go, they'll be even angrier."
