Lu Jinghan stood beside the window smoking two cigarettes before Han Xi woke up. She got up from the sofa, saw the tall figure by the window, and smiled: "When did you get here?"
Hearing the voice, Lu Jinghan stubbed out his cigarette, turned around, and smiled indulgently: "I came a long time ago, but seeing you were still asleep, I didn't wake you."
Lu Jinghan strode over to the sofa and pulled Han Xi into his arms: "What time did you go to sleep last night?"
Han Xi leaned against his solid chest, wrapping her arms around Lu Jinghan's slim waist, breathing in the faint scent of his hormones.
"Around two or three o'clock. I'm hungry. Did you bring breakfast?"
"I did. Go freshen up first and then come eat." Lu Jinghan loosened his arms around Han Xi, signaling her to hurry.
Han Xi put on her shoes and jogged over to the sink, brushed her teeth, washed her face, and combed her messy hair before going over to eat breakfast.
