Maxwell Saxon: "..."
His face darkened slightly, eyes narrowed, and thin lips pressed into a cold, hard line.
"Besides, people always change. What you liked as a child doesn't mean you like now. It's quite sad to always live in memories."
"Scarlett, don't make me angry."
"Got angry?" She laughed, appearing very happy, curling her lips, "If I were you, I would immediately kick out the woman who made me angry to avoid losing my appetite."
He tightened his lips, half-narrowed his eyes, and stared at her deeply for a moment. Suddenly, he curved his lips into a smile and said, "It's okay, I can get used to it slowly."
"You really are different from before, but this version of you intrigues me even more."
Scarlett Yates snorted coldly, turning her head away, not wanting to see his hateful face anymore.
Maxwell Saxon gently swirled the wine in his glass, taking an elegant sip.
The jewelry box was on the table to Scarlett Yates's right hand side.
