Lena thought Scarlett had already tattled on her, and now Matthew Saxon was ready to fire her due to hesitation. When Matthew spoke, she immediately breathed a sigh of relief.
"Miss Yates, sorry, this coffee spilled out. Let me brew you another cup."

Matthew pulled Scarlett up, tidied her clothes, and adjusted the scarf around her neck twice: "Where do you want to have lunch?"
"You're the most familiar with this area, so you pick a place," Scarlett, who wasn't picky about food, replied.
Matthew thought for a moment and said, "Let's have seafood porridge, and after that, we can pick a good movie to watch."
