Suddenly, a cry of collapse rang out.
This cry was abrupt and piercing, immediately shattering the romantic atmosphere created by Matthew Saxon.
Scarlett Yates was startled by this cry.
It was Alice Green crying; she was squatting in the corner, holding her face in both hands, crying desperately.
"Matthew, I was wrong, can't you just forgive me?"
"I already regret it, what more do you want from me?"
"You're deliberately trying to upset me, aren't you? I know you don't really like her, you're just mad about my betrayal."
"What do I have to do for you to forgive me?? I really regret it, you can scold me or hit me, I can endure anything as long as you forgive me."
Scarlett silently watched.
Even after Alice Green's breakdown-like crying for several minutes, Matthew Saxon still didn't say a word.
He held Scarlett Yates' hand in his palm, then reached out to brush away the hair covering her eyebrows, turned her head, and didn't even glance at Alice Green: "Ignore her."
