Manuel Ink smiled at her, closed the car door, and was all set to drive away when Summer suddenly called out to him, "Thanks for the help this time, Sun!"
She has no idea how many times she's said thank you to Manuel Ink.
Manuel actually didn't care much for it, but still turned his head and gave her a slight smile, "No problem, get some rest."
With that, he slowly started the car.
Summer waited for his car to leave before turning to enter the apartment.
As she came into her apartment, opened the door, she unexpectedly found Watt Bennet there.
He sat primly on the sofa, as if he'd been waiting for her for a long time.
His gaze was sharp, and when he looked at her, there was a chill in his eyes, piercing through her as if he could see right through her.
Summer's gaze met his, and her body stiffened for a moment.
The two of them stared at each other for quite a while before Summer broke the silence, "You're here."
