"Do you still like how this place looks now?" He lazily sat down on the sofa chair beside her and changed the topic.
"You don't need to do this." Summer Sutton reminded him.
"I want to!" Watt Bennet replied coolly, giving her three abrupt words.
Summer Sutton was left speechless by his response.
If he wanted to, what else could she do?
"I've ordered food; it should be delivered soon. Call me if you work late in the future." Watt handed her a sentence and turned to the dining room to pour himself a glass of water.
The takeout was delivered half an hour later, Watt sat down to watch her eat, accompanying her until she finished her dinner, showing no signs of leaving.
At this late hour, given his stubbornness, Summer Sutton thought he would probably stay the night.
But then Watt stared at her for a few moments and suddenly asked, "Want me to stay?"
Summer Sutton was taken aback by his question, scoffed, "You're overthinking."
