"I didn't check my phone after coming back," Summer Sutton said.
Adrian Walyon's dark eyes narrowed slightly, a dangerous glint flashing in them.
"Summer Sutton!" he growled her name coldly.
Clearly, he didn't believe a word she said.
Summer was afraid of him, and she hung her head, quickly admitting her mistake, "Alright, I know I was wrong. I really shouldn't have ignored your calls."
Seeing her sincere attitude, Adrian's anger subsided a little.
But then, Summer said something unexpected, "But, isn't this all your fault too? Who told you to always think about those filthy things all day long?"
She really wasn't afraid to die, lifting her head high. She was timid one second, and the next, she was full of fighting spirit like a warrior.
All of Adrian's simmering anger was reignited by her words.
"Summer Sutton!" he gritted his teeth, shouting her name once more.
