With the misunderstanding cleared up, Jiang Xue picked up the glass of water she'd just poured, took a sip, and then asked Lu Jintian, "Brother, when are your friends coming?"
"Xue'er, are you getting impatient? Are you hungry? How about I have them bring out a few dishes first?" Lu Jintian looked at Jiang Xue and asked with a smile.
He was actually a bit hungry himself, but since his friends hadn't arrived yet, it didn't feel right to start serving the food.
"A little." Jiang Xue nodded. Just as Lu Jintian was about to call the waiter to serve the dishes, the door of the private room was pushed open and a waiter walked in, pushing a cart.
As the waiter came in, a wave of delicious aromas drifted into Jiang Xue's nose.
"What's this?" Lu Jintian stared in a daze at the waiter pushing in the dishes. He and Jiang Xue hadn't even ordered yet, so why was the waiter bringing food?
Could it be a mix-up?
