"Dos, what are you doing?"
No wonder Meng Hao was confused, he really couldn't understand what Dos was doing.
The Blue Star viewers in the live stream were just as perplexed.
But upon hearing his voice, Dos didn't bother to look up to respond, he simply said:
"Don't worry, I will get you down."
After several attempts, all unsuccessful, Dos looked at the belt of a nearby soldier's corpse. He closed his eyes and said a prayer over the dead United States soldier's body.
Then he untied the soldier's belt, threaded it under Meng Hao's arms, and tried to drag him.
Once he found it was feasible, he picked up a broken beam nearby, placed it at Meng Hao's ankle, and secured it with torn fabric, then dragged Meng Hao towards the cliff.
The commotion caught the attention of a few Japanese soldiers who were sweeping the battlefield from a distance.
They shouted something unintelligible, raised their guns, and shot in this direction, the gunshots echoing on the cliff.
