"You didn't call?" Rong Mochen asked coldly, looking somewhat displeased and angry as he gazed at Jin Jumo with his dark eyes.
Jin Jumo's eye twitched slightly.
She discovered that the more time she spent with him, the more obvious his emotions became. At the very least, she could now understand many of the fleeting emotions in his expressions or eyes.
She didn't know whether this was good or bad.
Biting her lower lip in thought, Jin Jumo said, "I would only call Mr. Rong if I had something to discuss, otherwise, why would I call you?"
Seeing his face suddenly turn gloomy, Jin Jumo lowered her voice, adding in a placating manner, "I was mainly afraid of disturbing Mr. Rong while he was working."
Rong Mochen didn't relax his expression at all because of her explanation; instead, it became even deeper. "You, a pregnant woman, went out alone at six or seven in the evening without saying a word to the child's father?"
"..." Jin Jumo was stunned.
