Soo Min-ji scrunched up her nose, her breath catching in her throat.
"What? Me? I'm still a level 2, what can I do?"
"But I believe you'd level up if you killed all of these fleshbinders?" He snorted, then spat out blood.
She swallowed hard, "I guess you are right."
"Guess? No, it is true. Now since..." He swiped at fleshbinder taking its head in one fatal blow, "You haven't been injured any of them,"he gave another one a double spun kick, "They can't sense you if you hide," he groaned, thrusting his katana through another one's right eye.
Her chest bopped up and down in rhythm with her heavy breathing, "So I have to hide?"
He grabbed her hand, running towards the rock like cave, "Listen, you have to stay here and think of something quick, while I should be able to stall them for a while."
Her eyes widened, "I can't think of anything currently, plus you're bleeding profusely," she coughed.
"Forget about me, worry about yourself right now. All I can say to you right now is make sure none of them touches you!"
He handed her his katana, "You would need this, use it properly."
He patted her head, then walked back outside.
Her head was in a web of thoughts, "Okay, think of something Soo," she held her chin, her pupils dilating.
[Beep! Host could make use of her agility and intelligence]
Her brows creased at the screen, "But I still don't know what exactly to do! I can't think right now aegenesis, can you see what's going on outside?!"

[Introducing Terrain Manipulation]
"Aegenesis.. what the hell?" Her jaws dropped, "This only pops up when I'm at the point of death?"
[You have no use of it when it's not needed]
A sweaty emote appeared in the screen.
She arched her brows, "That's kind of true I guess," she crossed her arms across her chest.
"Now what do I do with this Terrain Manipulation?"
[Use your environment to your advantage! If you remember, those fleshbinders are faster than shamblers and fleshwalkers, why not use their speed against them?]
She grazed her chin, "Interesting point," she nodded, a smirk appearing on her lips.
Just then a sickening crash was heard in a distance.
Boom!
She whipped her head in its direction, "What was that?" She ran towards the source of the direction.
When she got there, she saw that a boulder had cut off from the main rock and crashed to the ground.
Her eyes brightened, "Hold up! With this, I could really defeat those things!" She smacked her right palm, a grin sheepishly rested on her face.
"Let's do this Aegenesis!"
[New quest: Defeat the fleshbinders.]
[Reward: Levels up to a new rank!]
[Unlocks a new weapon]
"I do deserve that," she ran back to the entrance of the cake, "Oh well, let's get started."
She got outside, but there was not a single fleshbinder at the entrance, it seemed Heuk Jin had drawn them away from there.
"That's so nice of him," she chuckled.
She walked a little further to see them searching for her downhill. She looked closer to see Heuk Jin lying in them midst of them.. bleeding.
Shw tightened her lips, "Oh dear. I have to get rid of them quickly," she wiped her forehead.
"Dead brains!" She waved her hands yelling at the top of her lungs, "come get me if you can!"
Her yells attracted the fleshbinders who were looking for her. As soon as they sighted her on top of the sandhill, they all rushed at her in a stampede.
"If I die, my soul would definitely haunt you Aegenesis," she stood akimbo waiting for them to get a little closer.
[Trust me, this would work.]
Laughing emotes filled the screen.
She rolled her eyes, turning on her heels when she saw they were closing in on her.
[Get ready to run in 3...]

[Run!]
Soo Min-ji took to her heels, "Phew! It is going to be a very long day!" She increased her pace.
The defeaning cries filled the air as all of them wanted to get her at once.
"Hungry bitches," she hissed, running back towards the cave.
At once the fleshbinders ran in at once, shaking the cave with their stampede.
[Possible collision with a boulder in 4.5 seconds.]
Her eyes fell on the boulder, and zoom! She ran past just in time before the collision.
CRASH!
it came crashing on half of the fleshbinders who were not quick enough to run past it.
"Bingo!" She drew out her katana and with one clean arc, she swept off the heads of the fleshbinders who barely escaped the boulder and was trying to leap away from it.
Some tried to lounge at her but she was quick to swipe off their heads too, then she kept running.
Of course she knew if she dared hover around, she would lose her heart instantly.
She could hear the cries of the furious fleshbinders behind her.
"Uh- oh."
Seeing a narrow pathway between two boulders, she snickered, "Perfect," she ducked low, zipping past the boulders.
The fleshbinders blinded by fury kept on chasing, stomping on the ground causing the boulders to shake, losing their balance.
CRASH! BOOM!
The boulders crashed painfully on more than half of them, reducing the Numbers to only a few.
"Yes!" She grinned when she looked over her shoulders to see the fleshbinders reduced greatly in numbers.
"Let's finish this," she gripped the katana slightly, "I can do this."
She kept on hyping herself, dragging her feet through rough gravel, "If I can only get these to crash again."
Seeing some jagged rocks ahead, she jumped over them, and continued running.
Then an idea struck her.
'Why not flex my strength a little?' A proud smirk lit her face as she made a U turn. Giving one hard push, she sent the rocks rolling towards the fleshbinders.
CRUSHHHH!
It collided badly with the remaining ones who were still coming after her, and kept on rolling towards the entrance.
[You just defeated a group of level 3 zombies!]
