After lunch, Mu Haiyang and Mu Tiantian went upstairs to rest, using jet lag as an excuse.
The siblings' rooms were right next to each other on the third floor. The rooms were very well lit and spacious, each with its own bathroom. The decor was very exquisite, showing that great care had been taken.
After seeing Mu Tiantian to her room, Mu Haiyang leaned against the doorway watching her.
"Tiantian, don't be afraid, your brother is here to take care of everything."
Mu Tiantian's eyes grew warm. Many times before, she had been all by herself. Although her grandmother was around, there were many things she didn't dare let her know, fearing that grandmother would worry if she found out.
"Yeah, I know. If anything happens, I'll definitely tell you, brother!"
Her mom was gone, yet she was given a brother, someone she had known before. Mu Tiantian felt as though fate hadn't been unkind to her after all.
