Gu Tiantian nodded to show her understanding and listened to Wang Chun spout a lot of nice words. Although it felt a bit off, it was still better than making her marry Li Zhu.
While eating, Gu Tiantian continued to feed Bai Chenyao. Li Das and Wang Chun sat on the side, eating while occasionally observing her and Bai Chenyao.
They even inquired about the situation from time to time.
"Um... Tian Tian, how's this brother doing now?"
Gu Tiantian nodded; Bai Chenyao seemed to be in decent shape, apart from his brain being a bit problematic.
Li Das seemed to sigh in relief upon hearing this.
"That's good. Stay here a couple more days, regain your energy, and then I'll take you both down to the hospital for a checkup."
Gu Tiantian nodded with a smile and gave her thanks.
From the side, Wang Chun chimed in.
"I'll go as well. If you need an extra pair of hands, I can help out."
Gu Tiantian smiled again and thanked him.
Wang Chun smiled too, albeit somewhat awkwardly.
