Charlotte Smith pursed her lips, her gentle voice a bit tense: "Miss Ginger, please don't joke about this!"
Daisy Ginger observed her expression and detected her displeasure from the slightly colder tone than usual.
She tilted her head and laughed a few times.
Intentionally, she said: "Why do you think I'm joking? If someone deceives both your body and heart and nearly drove your family to bankruptcy, wouldn't you resent him to the core?"
Charlotte's little face turned slightly pale, her expression stiff, "The second young master... the second young master just likes you, he didn't do it on purpose."
So Daisy Ginger asked again: "Just because he likes me, does that mean he can bully me like this?"
