The gigantic European-style dining room, Edward Stephens led her to her seat.
The golden chairs and tables glimmered opulently in the sunlight; a row of servants attended to them, bringing the food Edward Stephens had just requested.
Daisy Ginger sat in a small solid wood leather dining chair, watching as the servant respectfully filled her coffee cup with a sculpted silver transparent coffee pot, while Edward Stephens, accustomed to the entourage, began his meal. She sighed inwardly at the decadence and guilt of capitalism.
Daisy Ginger ate a bit of sandwich but didn't have much appetite. She quickly set down her utensils, leaned against the chair, and tilted her head to gaze out the window.
