Camden was captured, and almost everyone thought that Arlo Seys's next step would be to settle accounts with him, since Camden was his man. Yet, over half a month passed without seeing Arlo come by.
Nicole didn't respond, she simply spoke softly, "Go back, Jose Floyd, I'm going in first."
Nicole said this as she turned around.
She trusted that Camden's attempt to kill her wasn't his intention. Even if he didn't say it, she wouldn't doubt him. Unexpectedly, the usually taciturn Camden explained himself in front of her. Nicole felt a touch of warmth in her heart.
Suddenly, her wrist was grasped tightly by someone; Jose Floyd's hand firmly held Nicole's wrist, "Nicole, let's go back to..."
"Jose Floyd, this is neither the time nor the place to talk about this." Nicole pushed Jose Floyd's hand aside and walked towards the inpatient department.
