"Mom, I saw this dress first, but Maya insists on taking it from me." Elia saw Hannah coming and immediately complained to her as if she had found a supporter.
Hannah saw that the person fighting over the clothes with Elia was Maya and her face immediately turned sour. She quickly called over the salesperson to admonish them.
"Two customers fighting over a dress and you're just standing here watching the show? Don't you know to bring another one out?"
If Elia's opponent were someone else, Hannah would have already been aggressive.
But things have changed; Maya is someone they can't afford to provoke, so she vented her anger on the salesperson instead.
After scolding the salesperson, she pulled Elia aside and said, "Elia, this dress is already torn, give it to her."
Maya coldly mocked as she watched Hannah ignore her, "Aunt Hannah, long time no see, you've returned to the Spencer family! How come when I'm not around, your status is nothing like before?"
