Nolan Davis stood up and walked toward the main bedroom upstairs. Shortly after, he came down wearing a dignified black suit, accentuating his tall figure.
"Mr. Davis, where are you going?" Sophie Smith was still puzzled because Nolan Davis had abruptly ended the previous topic, which indeed surprised her.
"Wherever I want to go, will you accompany me?" He paused, as if he made a big decision, before he spoke the words he wanted to say next. "Consider it your gratitude?"
Sophie Smith said nothing.
"Why? You're unwilling?" He raised an eyebrow and asked.
"Mr. Davis, would such a reward be too light?"
He smiled without saying a word, just turned and walked out. Sophie Smith didn't think much, put on her shoes, and followed him.
The car stopped in front of the square waiting for her, and the driver opened the car door for her. She sat down in the back seat.
