"Don't throw it, I'll return it, okay?" Sophie stopped him, took the expensive phone from his hand, disliking how he'd just toss things away—such a bad habit!
Asher then nodded in satisfaction.
Not long after, Sophie heard a knock at the door. She opened it, and a server pushed in a meal cart.
Looking at the mouth-watering food, Sophie instantly perked up.
He held her in his lap, watching her eat happily.
"You're not eating?" Seeing Asher merely sipping his wine, Sophie was a bit surprised. After such a long day, he wasn't even a bit hungry? Where did he get his stamina from?
Her robe slightly open, he gazed at the beautiful sight within, feeling something changing within his body.
He deliberately pretended to have shaky hands, pouring the wine from his glass—right onto her robe...
"Asher, how could you be so careless?" Sophie sighed and complained.
"Yes, I was 'careless'. Sorry, darling," he smiled innocently, "Let me help you dry it off."
