"Loss?" Nolan Davis chuckled softly, "How could that be? Having a great beauty like Miss Smith, how could it be a loss?"
"Having?" Sophie Smith shook her head indifferently, "Mr. Davis, what do you mean by 'having'? If you mean my body or my heart, I don't think you can have either."
She spoke each word clearly and definitively.
