This morning, Sophie woke up especially early. She turned to look at Asher Land's handsome face, staring at him blankly.
She slowly leaned closer to his face, pressing her lips together.
"What are you trying to do?" Feeling a familiar presence, he suddenly opened his eyes.
"Oh, nothing..."
Could she say she wanted to steal a kiss from him?
Not thinking much of it, probably still half-asleep, Asher closed his eyes and prepared to go back to sleep. However, within seconds, he suddenly realized.
"You want to kiss me?" He curved his lips into a confident and smug expression.
"You're overthinking..." Feeling embarrassed as if her thoughts had been guessed correctly, Sophie thought she must be out of her mind. Why would she want to take advantage of him so early in the morning?
"If you want to kiss me, just say so. Don't sneak around."
He was convinced that she had those intentions.
