With a crisp sound, the knife in Christopher Smith's hand fell to the ground, the tip still stained with dazzling blood.
Christopher hadn't expected that Asher Land wouldn't dodge at all and just took the stab from him like that.
His steps were somewhat unsteady, his tall figure trembling, his face pale. He half-curved his lips, his gaze falling on the woman a few steps away who was in shock.
She rushed towards him, struggling to support his heavy body.
"Robert! Robert!" She shouted like a madwoman, her voice somewhat shrill.
Robert Williams pushed the door open, and upon seeing the scene before him, he was dumbfounded.

"Robert, hurry and call the doctor! Quickly!"
Robert replied hastily twice and then ran out with his phone.
"Why so nervous? I'm not going to die." He weakly offered a faint smile.
