"What's wrong with you?" Sophie Smith saw Asher Land zoning out and thought her previous words might have hurt him. After all, he was a man with a lot of pride, and besides, he never needed to try to please women since they always flocked to him.
"Actually, the roses are quite beautiful, and, and the lights have a nice atmosphere..." Sophie tugged at his sleeve, "Don't be mad, okay?"
Mad?
"I wouldn't get mad at you, you little brat." He looked at her indulgently, tucking a stray strand of her hair behind her ear.
"Little brat?" Sophie glared at him, "Asher, can you watch what you're saying? I'm not a little brat!"
"You're the one who should watch what you say. I'm your elder now."
Ha, wasn't he just called uncle?
"How can you talk to your uncle like that? Remember to use respectful terms in the future, okay? At least you should understand the basics of respecting the elderly." He joked with her.
"No way, I'm used to calling you Asher."
