"Why are you suddenly being so nice to me? I'm not used to it. Are you planning to spit in my food?" Huo Jinyan said with a playful smile.
"Then don't eat it. I don't feel like making it anyway!" Qin Shen Shen admitted that she went out to buy food because he said he would come over in the evening. She wasn't sure if he would actually come.
But being prepared is never wrong.
"Don't make it too complicated; just make me a bowl of noodles, that's fine." Huo Jinyan didn't have many requests, but he didn't particularly like boiled noodles.
He was truly hungry and didn't want to wait too long.
"Okay then!"
Qin Shen Shen finally went into the kitchen and made Huo Jinyan a serving of scallion oil noodles, along with a bowl of pork rib soup.
She had prepared this in the afternoon and kept it warm.
"Did you make this soup especially for me?" Huo Jinyan took a sip. It was obvious that it had been simmered for quite some time.
Otherwise, it wouldn't taste so good.
