Once Jared walks away, Eli lets out a growl.
"Moon?!...What the fuck is that about, him holding your hand like that?!"
"A nickname he had for me." I roll my eyes.
I'm walking back towards my house and he's hot on my heels. It is a surprise to see him, but with everything going on today it is more overwhelming than exciting. Why did he pop up like this? Then there was that little battle of tostostrone between him and Jared. It was defintely uncalled for.
"You're deleting his number." He growls again.
"Gosh, Your mother was right!" I spin around to face him. He is so close behind me, we almost smack into eachother when I do.
"You're so possessive. You should of just peed on me back there!"
"What?"
"You should of just pulled your d**k out, and pissed on me right in front of Jared." I say slowly and angerly.
He gives me a tight lipped stare.
"Delete the number or I will." He huffs.
"Are you serious?" He sticks his hand out for me to give him the phone. "Un-fucking-believable!" I fish the phone out my bag and slam it in his hand.
He swips it open and searches through it quickly. Note to self, start locking my phone.
"Who's Greg?"
"My boss." I roll my eyes. He stares at me for a moment and then from where I am, I can see him deleting my bosses number as well. He clicks the screen off and offers me the phone back.
"Keep it." I shrug.
"Don't be like that." He argues.
"What? You just deleted every male contact in my phone. By the way, Denis is my brother, and Marcus, GAY!"
"You have a brother?" He nods slowly, "I like learning about you. Tell me more. About this Marcus, how gay would you say he is? If it's like half, then I'm not sorry."
"You have got to be kidding me?!" I shout. Is he out of his wolf ass mind right now?
"I might have gotten carried away, but what do you expect?"
"From?" I sit on my front steps with my head in my hands. It's too late for this madness.
"Him being here."
"Nothing. You heard me yourself telling him no. So why dehumanize me in front of him like you held my pink slip in your hands?"
"He was trying to take what's mine."
"Like Jared said, I'm nobody's!" His eyes flicker black just for a second, but I don't care that he's mad. I'm mad, too. "You can't even claim me as a mate from what you've told me."
"I'm sorry. My wolf and I have been missing the shit out of you." He kneels in front of me. His hands rub up and down my thights. "You were with my Beta and Gamma earlier today. Then I couldn't wait to see you. So, I came here and I saw you with him. On top of that, he is the father of your pup."
I snort.
"What, is he not?"
"He is.. but pup?" I giggle. "I'm human, remember?"
"I know. That's what worries me. That you don't feel the bond I do. That someone can steal your heart away because you don't feel the way your soul needs me like mine needs you."
"You don't trust me, you mean?"
"It's not that. It's that I want to mark you, but I can't. It's killing me and my wolf."
"You can't, or you won't?" He doesn't answer. Instead, he leans in his nose, nuzzling the corner of my neck, and he kisses it gently. My body shivers into him.
"This is where it'll be one day, my mark." He rubs the spot with his thumb. The simple gesture has me pressing my thighs together.
"I promise." He pants. His hot breath is heavy on my neck.
I don't know what a mark is, but I figure it has to do with claiming me. I look down at him. His eyes are black. I can see his hard member pressed against his leg through his fitted slacks. I reach down and grab it. Surprising the both of us at my bold move. I'm also surprised at how big it actually feels in my hand. His mouth comes down hard on my mines. He's devouring my lips with need. Before I know it, my back is pinned uncomfortably against the steps, but I don't care. I'm more focused on him on top of me. My legs seem to be on autopilot as they wrap around his waist. His hands are in my hair. He presses his tongue against my lips for me to let him in. I do as I greet him with my own at the entrance. I moan as he explores my mouth, and I try to fight back so I can play in his.
I can't believe this spell he has me under. The euphoria I get from his lips on mine. Forget the fact that I'm pissed from his sudden arrival. Forget the fact that he will never really be mine because he's well out of my league and well species. There's just something about his touch and how animalistic he is when he wants me. That's it, the feeling of being wanted and needed by a man that looks so damn good.
"Someone call Animal control, there's some stray dogs f**king on my porch." Kim's annoying laugh fills the night, and I quickly take my lips back.
A growl rumbles in Eli's chest.
"Sick em' boy." I whisper in his ear before he pulls away completely. He looks up and gives me a smirk. God, he is gorgoeus. I am gonna kill Kim.
"You must be wolfy?"
"Wolfy?" Eli climbs off of me as he re-adjusts his clothes. I lean my head back on the steps and glare up at her.
"There's no other reason Saint Sam would let you ravish her goods out in the open for all the world to see."
"Grrr." I fake growl at her makng Eli burst into laugher. I figure he is taking the opportunity to shake off the embarrassment or the awkwardness. Yet when he stops laughing, he doesn't seem embarrassed at all. He might even be a little too proud we got caught.
"I'd gladly take the title as 'wolfy' if it means I can take her any and everywhere I want."
I can feel my face burning.
"Oh sh-shit." Kim coughs out. She must have choked on her own spit because she is coughing uncontrolabley and also giggling in between.
"Eli, Kim. Kim, Eli."
"It's a pleasure to meet you. I assume she knows everything?" He gives me a concerned stare, and I nod.
"Kim is my best friend. My family. If you trust me, you can trust her. she'd never do anything to betray anyone."
"Unless you deserve it!" Kimberly pipes up.
He scans Kimberly, who looks like she is just daring him to say something that opposes our claims. But to our surprise, he smiles again.
"Like I said, it's a pleasure."
