Chapter 364 - Chapter 596-600

Chapter 596 Onslaught Forcefully Suppresses Hyperion

Located in the sky above a small island in the Atlantic Ocean, dozens of sounds like thunderclaps rang out one after another. The culprit causing these terrifying sounds was actually just iron balls the size of eyeballs.

Don't underestimate these iron balls just because they look ordinary. With just a little electromagnetic force, they can become deadly weapons. Even Hyperion has to deal with them carefully.

The battle has lasted for less than five minutes from start to finish, but this time, which isn't even enough to cook noodles, makes Hyperion, this powerful superhuman, feel like he's living years in a day.

Magneto's every attack is fierce, and every move is full of killing intent, as if he wants to tear him into pieces.

Hyperion's eyes can see many things that humans cannot, such as microwaves, infrared rays, ultraviolet rays, etc. But now he feels he can add one more thing to that list, and that is killing intent.

This is the first time Hyperion has so directly felt killing intent from someone else. In the past, his opponents were mostly filled with hostility and ferocity, but Magneto is very different from them. Hyperion can sense that Magneto might really want to kill him.

Although he doesn't know where the other party's so much killing intent comes from, forcing Magneto to attack without saying a word and use killer moves frequently, Hyperion is not a fool who just stands there and gets beaten.

Hyperion even knows that the opponent is not those minor characters he has encountered before. Facing Magneto, he has no room to hold back, and the longer this battle drags on, the more disadvantageous it will be for him. He must quickly resolve this battle.

Throwing out a fist to shatter the electromagnetic cannon fired at him, Hyperion adjusted his body and rushed towards Magneto with speed he had never shown before. His speed even exceeded the electromagnetic cannon fired by Magneto.

Cosmic energy instantly filled his entire body. At this moment, Hyperion himself transformed into a cannonball, and those electromagnetic cannons that bombarded him head-on were all smashed to pieces by him.

Logically speaking, Hyperion's speed at this moment has far exceeded the reaction speed of ordinary people. In the eyes of ordinary people, they simply cannot see his movement.

However, Hyperion saw that as he moved, Magneto's eyes also moved along with him. This visuals greatly exceeded his expectations.

But the arrow is already on the string and has to be released. Hyperion has no way to withdraw his attack. Relying on his body that can survive in outer space, Hyperion feels that he has a lot of room for trial and error.

Facing the aggressively approaching Hyperion, Magneto just showed a contemptuous smile. He stretched out his arm, which could be called thin and weak, extending it backwards like throwing a baseball.

One was approaching aggressively, and the other was as steady as Mount Tai. In the blink of an eye, the two came into contact.

"Boom!"

Magneto's right fist solidly made contact with Hyperion's fist. The energy generated by the two fists clashing was like a high-yield explosive detonating.

Hyperion was shocked by Magneto's power. That pair of arms as thin as branches could actually offset the force generated after his acceleration. Does this mean that the other party's physical body ability is very likely above his own?

No, no, this is not in line with common sense. There must be something...

Hyperion widened his eyes. He discovered that his fist did not directly make contact with Magneto. There was a not-so-obvious thin film on Magneto's body surface. Obviously, ordinary people cannot see this thing. Only creatures with multiple visions can see it, just like him.

"Looks like my 'clothes' has shocked you." Magneto grinned and smiled.

Magneto's smile became the best fuel. Hyperion's anger rose from his heart. He mobilized a large amount of cosmic energy, and this energy continuously surged from his limbs and bones towards his eyes.

Orange light suddenly appeared. Hyperion released two light beams as thick as bowls, shooting straight at Magneto, who was no more than two meters away from him. This distance gave Magneto no opportunity to dodge at all.

However, Magneto didn't intend to dodge in the first place. He just stretched out his left hand and aimed it at the atomic ray shooting towards him. Blue light with a few arcs of electricity surged from his palm.

A shocking scene appeared. As Magneto's palm moved horizontally, the two rays that should have been aimed at Magneto were actually deflected in direction and moved away along with his palm.

'He used ability to deflect the energy I released!'

Hyperion was greatly shocked. He had seen people block or dodge his attack, but this was the first time he had seen someone directly deflect it.

"This close distance is enough." Magneto curled up the corner of his mouth. Behind him was an island that was sinking. The rays that were just deflected landed on that island.

"What?" Hyperion had not yet understood Magneto's meaning when he felt a wave of dizziness, and then his limbs became weak and even his flight ability could not be maintained, and he fell towards the sea.

Seeing this, Magneto waved his hand casually, and Hyperion, who was falling, spun and fell towards the island where they had just been talking.

Accompanied by a 'smack' sound, Hyperion fell onto the sea island, splashing up countless sand dust at the same time. After he fell, Magneto also landed on the ground, stopping right in Hyperion's presence.

"What... is going on?" Hyperion weakly propped himself up. The feeling of dizziness in his brain had not stopped. He didn't understand what had happened, what means Magneto had used.

"What did you do to me?"

"Controlled some substance indispensable to creatures." Magneto casually beckoned, and an iron ball that he had not had time to use just now floated to Hyperion's presence.

"Iron, something that creatures with blood in their bodies cannot live without. I used them to control the frequency of blood supply from your body to your brain, so you feel dizziness and weakness."

Magneto showed a sly smile and said, "Actually, from the moment the battle just started, I was communicating with the little guys in your body, but there was some kind of energy I didn't understand protecting your body, so I had to entangle with you for so long."

"Just to weaken you, or lure you to get close."

Magneto raised his foot and stepped on Hyperion's head. Insufficient blood supply to the brain made the latter as weak as a human, unable to resist Magneto's trampling at all.

"Having strength but still playing that child's play-like farce. If you really exposed your ambition as that princess said, maybe I would help you for a while, but your idiotic thought had to make me expose myself."

Hyperion tried hard to raise his head, but it was impossible. He was too weak now.

"Forget it, instead of expecting you guys to maintain, I might as well do it myself and create an obedient puppet!"

As Magneto spoke, he retracted his foot. With a casual beckon, Hyperion was lifted from the ground, and then he stretched his right hand towards the latter.

Chapter 597 Mind Control

Hyperion was like clothes hanging on a clothes rack, his limbs drooping naturally, letting Magneto hang him in the air.

Hyperion could swear that even in his infancy, he had never been so powerless.

The weakness from insufficient blood supply to the brain is something no creature can defy, even he who is powerful enough to shatter an asteroid cannot resist this physiological weakness.

Although weak, this was far from making Hyperion faint; he was still looking for a chance to turn the tables.

"It surprises me," Magneto sized Hyperion up and down. "You actually didn't bring teammates with you, and you didn't even bring a communication device or any signal device."

Trying to open his eyes was the only thing Hyperion could do now; his entire body of muscle couldn't support him to speak at all.

The longer time passed, the more unclear Hyperion's consciousness became. He estimated that he was not far from fainting, and he even started to hallucinate.

Hyperion saw that on Magneto's thin hand, a thick red palm actually emerged, looking like some kind of armor.

Hyperion slowly shifted his line of sight, and he was surprised to find that an illusory red giant shadow had appeared on Magneto's body at some point. That shadow was more than three meters tall, and Magneto was enveloped in that red giant shadow.

"This is the first time I have revealed my true identity in front of an outsider."

Magneto, no, Onslaught sighed. The spirit symbolizing his essence gradually solidified into an entity, and that huge entity wearing red armor was his true form.

"Feel honored. As the first human to witness me standing on the ground surface, you have the right to become my servant and offer me your loyalty!"

Onslaught said this, and his body twisted. Huge psychic energy, like a tsunami, rushed towards Hyperion's brain, forcibly rewriting his awareness.

"Ugh aaaaah!"

This process was undoubtedly painful, like drilling into Hyperion's brain with an electric drill. Even a tower of a man like him couldn't help but cry out in pain.

"Resistance is useless," Onslaught whispered seductively. "You don't have the ability to resist spirit and mind. This useless resistance has no other use than to make me laugh."

As soon as Onslaught's words fell, Hyperion's sound became smaller and smaller. After about five or six seconds, he was as silent as a corpse.

If Hyperion wasn't still breathing, anyone who saw him would think he was dead.

Onslaught released the hand on Hyperion's face. Losing the pull of his ability, Hyperion was no longer floating in the air and fell to the ground under the effect of gravity.

"Da."

Surprisingly, Hyperion did not fall to the ground, but stood straight on the soft sand. Hyperion opened his eyes immediately after his feet touched the ground.

"Good evening, superhero, how do you feel?" Onslaught was chatting like he was with an old friend. It was hard to imagine that just a few minutes ago, the two were fighting fiercely and had even sunk a small island.

"Couldn't be better," Hyperion nodded. "Thank you for letting me see this world clearly."

"If that's the case, then go back," Onslaught waved his hand. "It's getting late, and if you continue to stay here, your princess will get worried."

"Yes," Hyperion nodded, and obediently turned around and flew away.

Watching Hyperion fly out of his line of sight in the blink of an eye, Onslaught opened his hands and, after a long absence, touched the real world with his true form before slowly retracting it.

"It's not time yet," Onslaught murmured whispers. "I still need to be patient; my current strength is not enough to stand in the spotlight."

Onslaught stretched out his right hand, and an infinitely collapsed black dot appeared in the center of his palm. It was obvious that it was a black hole.

In human awareness, a black hole should be a very dangerous thing, but this very dangerous thing was lying quietly in the center of his hand, as well-behaved as a hamster ball.

"Not enough!" Onslaught clenched his fist, and the black hole lying in the center of his hand dissipated. "This little power is not comparable to..."

Speaking of this, Onslaught's body couldn't help but tremble for a moment. His brain couldn't help but recall the powerful energy he had felt a few days ago. Onslaught knew by feeling that the owner of that energy could kill him easily.

Not only that, but after that, Onslaught successively felt several powerful energies. Onslaught was very fortunate that he was a new life formed by the fusion of Charles Xavier and Magneto. The abilities of these two people allowed him to feel the energy fluctuation happening on Earth.

When the first ability erupted, Onslaught was frightened and shrank into the depths of Magneto's brain. The subsequent ability fluctuations made him dismiss the idea of revealing his true form.

That was the first time Onslaught realized his own inadequacy since his birth. He clearly became aware of the reason that there are humans beyond humans, and heavens beyond heavens. It seemed that to implement his goal, the abilities of those mutants on Mutant Island alone were not enough.

He needed more mutants, so he agreed to Power Princess's cooperation request. He also anticipated that Hyperion would naively refuse Power Princess's condition, which is why he proposed a one-on-one meeting.

If it were before, Onslaught wouldn't care about Hyperion's life or death as long as he could continuously provide him with mutants. But after learning that there were existences in this world that were so powerful, Onslaught had to be more careful.

For this reason, he needed a target who could stand in front of him and attract firepower. Hyperion was a good choice—powerful enough, eye-catching enough. If he created some explosive events, Hyperion would be a perfect shield.

Unfortunately, Hyperion's personality wouldn't allow him to do that. Therefore, Onslaught had to expose his true form, risking being discovered by powerful existences to subdue Hyperion.

Huge risks always bring higher rewards. Onslaught felt that tonight's efforts were enough to exchange for an even better future.

"Once I absorb the abilities of all mutants, then that power will be nothing to fear."

Onslaught confidently clenched his fist, casually pulled the sea island that had been sunk in the distance from the seabed, and then flew back to Mutant Island with the island.

...

"Where is he?" Yang Le kept tapping his communication device. "Where the hell are you? Main body? You're not even in Universe 9527? Where are you?"

Yang Le felt like he was going to faint. He had sneaked out with great difficulty, like a thief, just to inform the main body, but his phone told him the other party was out of service?!

"I'm broken," Yang Le covered his head. He looked at the time and realized that some time had passed. Helplessly, he could only edit a message for Gwen Stacy and send it.

(End of Chapter)

Chapter 598

Gwen received the news when she was already lying on the bed preparing to sleep.

'I am Yang Le from Mutant Island, do not participate in the Superhuman Registration Act, Magneto and Hyperion may be plotting some conspiracy, because of various reasons I cannot often contact the outside world, when you see the main body remember to tell him about this matter.'

Gwen finished reading the news Yang Le sent her, and only felt that the decision she had made before was correct. If she really followed Katie's idea, who knows what might happen.

So what to do now is very clear. She and Katie must hide well, and then wait for Yang Le, who is defined as the main body, to appear.

Gwen didn't say anything like letting the clone create another clone. She was very clear about the principle of Yang Le's clone. In simple terms, it was an Omnitrix bug.

And people engaged in programming or other related professions are very clear that if a bug appears in your work, but it can run, then you should leave it alone, because it is very likely that if you fix this bug, the program will not be able to run.

Because of this reason, even if the clone had some minor problems, Yang Le did not try to use his own half-baked skills to try to fix the bug into a program. He left this matter to the more reliable Valeria.

These minor problems are also the reason why Gwen did not let Yang Le create more clones. The existence of clones will put a burden on each other. Although the burden can be compensated by resupply, more clones means more pressure.

So unless necessary, Yang Le will not create more than two clones. Two clones can replenish energy once every 12 hours, but with one more clone, this time will be shortened by half.

However, possibly due to the Omnitrix protection mechanism, after Yang Le's test, no matter how many clones are created, the time interval for replenishing energy will be stuck at one hour, but at the same time, the transformation time of the clones will be restricted, and the transformation time will be greatly shortened.

It seems that the Omnitrix is bearing that part of the energy consumption.

Gwen knew about this matter, because she was acting as a recorder when Yang Le was testing, so she remembered the data very clearly.

Since Older Brother is not here, then we can't act in a high-profile manner. What did Yang Le say? Wretched development? Forget it, enduring hardship sounds better.

Firmly establishing the principle of a street hero never showing his face, Gwen decided to get a good sleep, after all, only sufficient spirit can cope with the sudden situation that is about to come.

In this way, time quickly came to the next day.

Although two days have passed since the Superhuman Registration Act event, this matter is still the favorite of all circles. Superhumans related to this event must naturally pay attention to this matter, and at the same time, there are many people with ulterior motives who are very concerned about this.

Of course, there are also many people who simply want to watch the fun. There is never a shortage of people who don't mind watching the excitement.

Different from the bustling scene on the first day and the bustling scene on the second day, the doorway of the Supreme Squadron Base on the third day was basically only those reporters or intelligence gathering departments who had already stood in position.

This is not surprising, after all, such a big scandal has been exposed. Superhumans who have not registered by now must definitely weigh it carefully. For anyone, their life is very important, and no one can afford to consume it.

It seems that this Superhuman Registration Act will also become a farce that ends with all thunder and no rain.

As for those threats Hyperion said before? No one will really take it to heart. Can he really be an enemy to Superhumans worldwide?

If it was before, there must be many people who would buy into the threat, but since not long ago, Hyperion, the "strongest" Superhuman in this world, has been exposed to have lost twice.

The strongest who has been defeated? Is that still the strongest? Obviously not anymore. Many Superhumans are harboring the idea that since someone can defeat Hyperion, then why can't they.

Otherwise, why would a nobody jump out to challenge him at the Presidential Speech not long ago? It's because his status is unstable, and at this time, many hyenas will emerge wanting to take a bite.

It has been like this since ancient times, whether it is humans, or organizations, or even nations.

"It looks like there's no big news today." A reporter threw away the cigarette butt in his hand. "I said that those old timers in the newspaper office have no news sense, it's already the third day, the news has become old news."

It is estimated that many people present have the same idea as him, and feel that they will spend a boring and life-wasting day, but there is no way, they can only waste time here. Work is like this, they can't help it. If they go back early and are exposed, they will also lose their work.

The reporter decided to go to the convenience store to buy himself a coffee. He would go crazy if he just waited like this, but just as he was about to leave, the gate of the Supreme Squadron Building opened.

The transparent automatic door slid open to both sides, and Hyperion in black uniform slowly floated out, the yellow cape fluttering behind him in the wind, giving people a strange feeling.

'I always feel that this big guy is different from before.' The reporter frowned, but then he shrugged and felt that he was thinking too much.

Picking up his audio and video recording equipment, he could only hope that this superhero who stirred up trouble would reveal some more big scoop, even if it was admitting defeat, it would be fine. Anyway, he is not a superhuman, he doesn't care about the life and death of those people.

What is important is big news, only with big news can he make money.

Hyperion quickly flew into the public's vision. What was strange was that this time he did not land, but chose to ascend to a height that was out of reach for everyone.

"Since morning, until now, not a single superhuman has come to registration." Hyperion did not shout loudly, but his voice was unusually loud and clear, and everyone present heard it very clearly.

'This is too normal, rumor has it that even the government is going to disclaim responsibility, who would dare to come? There would be ghosts.' The reporter slandered in his heart.

In fact, not only the government, but even the military chose to disclaim responsibility at the first time, pushing all the responsibility to a secret squad. The military claimed that the team was General Ross's private armament, and all the dirty work was done by them, and the military was unaware of it before.

As for where is this team now? Of course, they were all wiped out when capturing giants in the New York event.

Oh right, the public is very dissatisfied with this statement. They also want the military to hand over the scientists who participated in the human experiment. The military said that this matter is still under investigation, but they will definitely give the public an explanation.

Today seems to be the day to give an explanation, but this news that is obviously more eye-catching has not fallen into the hands of the reporter.

It was because he had offended his petty leader.

"It's okay Eddie, your luck has always been good." The reporter murmured softly. "I have a hunch that this news can make you Eddie Brock turn over!"

(End of this chapter)

"Obviously, those arrogant individuals treated my words as if they went in one ear and out the other."

Hyperion spoke unhurriedly, his steady voice reaching everyone's ears.

"I should have expected this long ago. Those selfish people only think of themselves. They only consider what their own superpowers bring them, without ever considering the feelings of others."

"Since that's the case, I will no longer treat people like you as civilians."

Hyperion's tone shifted, becoming extremely stern.

"You will all be considered hidden criminals, and I will employ decisive measures to sanction you!"

As soon as Hyperion finished speaking, the scene erupted in an uproar because his words were simply too presumptuous.

He was a superhero whose law enforcement authority had already been officially revoked, possessing no power at all to register others' information.

However, this matter ultimately benefited the general public, so various circles had turned a blind eye, choosing to let the Superhumans suffer for the time being.

But turning a blind eye didn't mean becoming completely blind.

For Hyperion to say such a thing, either the government had granted him the relevant authority, or he had disregarded the government and unilaterally granted himself the power.

Either possibility was major news.

Eddie Brock felt blessed by Lady Luck; this news was far more explosive than anything involving some scientist.

"Eat shit, you damn leader."

Eddie grinned menacingly, holding his recording device high and securing his prime position.

"I'm about to step all over you."

"There are quite a few reporters present, so I'll just make the announcement directly."

Hyperion pressed his right index finger to the earpiece on his ear and whispered a few words.

Behind him, the main entrance of the Squadron Supreme Tower stirred once more.

Everyone present turned their gazes back towards the tower entrance, only to see a disheveled young man in a white lab coat walking out.

He was clearly a researcher.

Just as people were guessing his identity, Hyperion took the initiative to announce it.

"I want to solemnly introduce to you all, Bruce Banner, a super-genius holding multiple degrees, and an indispensable part of helping me complete my plan."

Hyperion descended gracefully to stand beside Banner and continued, "With Bruce's help, we have finally achieved a great feat destined to be recorded in the annals of history – Superhuman location and tracking!"

"What!"

"That's impossible!"

The scene erupted in discussion once again.

The reporters present hastily pulled out their phones to contact their newspapers or television stations; this major news had to be released quickly.

Hyperion ignored the noisy crowd and continued speaking loudly, "With this technology, we can search out the Superhumans hiding within the population. Those Superhuman criminals will no longer be able to escape our pursuit!"

Just as Hyperion finished speaking, a distinct sound of something tearing through the air came from above.

Before anyone present could look up, several figures plummeted straight down from the sky, smashing heavily onto the ground.

Dong!

A commotion broke out at the scene, but it quickly subsided because they clearly saw what had landed.

Familiar metal bodies, looking just like Iron Man's armor— based on the design of Howard Stark.

Could he be involved in this matter too?

"Allow me to introduce my other helper: Stark Industries."

Hyperion gestured towards the iron figures.

"These are all robots equipped with Superhuman detection capabilities. Their mission is to seek out those Superhumans and apprehend them."

Hyperion appeared high-spirited, but only Banner standing beside him knew that these Sentinel Robots were rushed productions.

Their appearance mimicked Howard's armor.

The descent from the sky wasn't for dramatic effect; it was simply because these vigilantes had just been en route.

The shimmering metallic color indicated they hadn't even been painted, lacking even the Stark Industries logo.

However, for an order placed last night to result in finished products this morning, likely only Stark Industries possessed such capability worldwide.

But Howard had guaranteed upon shipment that these lumps of iron were not just for show.

"It seems many people here don't believe it."

Hyperion looked at the noisy crowd with a faint smile.

"Then let me show you their power! Sentinel Robots!"

Whirrr!

Hearing Hyperion call their name, the eyes of all the robots lit up with green light, and the humming sound indicating machine operation started simultaneously.

"Find the Superhumans hiding in the crowd!"

Swish.

The eyes of the five Sentinel Robots each shot out a beam of green light, scanning the crowd present.

Some people tried to dodge the unsettling green beams, but their speed was clearly no match for the robots' scanning speed.

Ding ding ding!

Suddenly, the green light in the eyes of one Sentinel Robot turned red.

That red beam locked onto a young boy hiding in the crowd.

Seeing the people around him scattering, the boy showed obvious panic.

Ding ding ding!

After that Sentinel Robot locked onto the target, all the Sentinel Robots stopped scanning and turned to face the boy.

Faced with five red beams locked onto him, even an adult would panic, let alone a teenager.

The boy chose the worst course of action: he pushed through the surrounding people and turned to flee.

His strength was surprisingly great, and the crowd couldn't hold him back.

"It seems the criminal has been found."

Hyperion said coldly.

"Now, capture that criminal!"

The moment Hyperion finished speaking, all the Sentinel Robots immediately shot into the air, their thrusters blasting out scorching flames.

In the blink of an eye, the five robots caught up to the fleeing boy.

"Stay away from me!"

the boy yelled, simultaneously throwing something like flames from his hands, trying to repel the airborne Sentinel Robots.

But it was clearly futile.

The scorching flames struck the Sentinel Robots' armor, only to explode into countless sparks, unable to leave even a single burn mark.

The boy was instantly aghast; no longer focusing on attacking, he began to concentrate solely on escaping.

But how could two legs possibly outrun robots flying in the sky?

In an instant, the five robots formed an encirclement, trapping the boy inside.

"Fugitive Superhuman, you are under arrest."

The emotionless mechanical voice rang out, perfectly complementing the Sentinel Robots' steel faces.

"Resistance is futile. Surrender peacefully, or we will take coercive measures."

"Don't touch me! You tin cans!"

The boy was clearly terrified out of his wits, recklessly throwing flames from his hands.

"Resistance encountered! Initiating capture!"

End of Chapter

Chapter 600 Capture

Just like before, the fireball thrown by the teenager smashed into the Sentinel robot, but besides exploding into sparks, it didn't even make a ripple.

Doctor Banner pushed up his glasses. In his opinion, that teenager had no chance of escaping. Don't assume these Sentinel robots are garbage just because they were rushed out; in reality, it's the opposite.

Because of the rushed production, the production line for these robots used the same line as the Howard armor. All the material used were the material Howard prepared for himself, so the defense performance is definitely top-notch.

Simply put, the scene before them was no different from using a cannon to shoot a mosquito.

"No! Aaaaaah!"

Behind the teenager, a Sentinel robot pulled out a short rod with a peculiar shape from its leg. After electric current crackled on it, it decisively pressed the short rod onto the teenager's body.

The electric current passed through the short rod and into the teenager's body. The teenager could no longer maintain his ability. The flame in his hand dissipated instantly, and his body convulsed and fell to the ground.

Another Sentinel robot took out a pair of handcuffs and cuffed them on the teenager's wrist. Then, the Sentinel robot holding the stun baton stopped the transmission of electric current.

After one of the Sentinel robots picked up the teenager, the five Sentinel robots flew back in front of Hyperion.

"Very good!" Hyperion nodded with satisfaction, not caring at all about the fearful gaze of the surrounding crowd.

"Performing the mission so decisively and neatly on their first mission. If they continue to be maintained and upgraded, they will definitely do even better. As expected of a product of Stark Industries!"

"Of course, this is also inseparable from Doctor Banner's help." Hyperion changed the subject and looked again at Bruce Banner, who was standing behind him, not very conspicuous.

"Without your search technology, Sentinel robots would always be a fantasy."

"I just did what I should do." Bruce Banner pushed up his glasses. He looked very peaceful and did not have emotion fluctuations due to Hyperion's flattery.

However, Hyperion did not blame Bruce Banner for his indifference. On the contrary, the former surprisingly revealed a sad expression.

Hyperion put his shoulder around Bruce Banner and said, "I understand, Bruce. With this technology, we can find the superhuman who kidnapped Betty."

Bruce Banner's body stiffened, not knowing whether it was because of Hyperion's overly intimate action or because of what he said.

"Search technology still needs constant debugging." Bruce Banner pushed Hyperion away. "It's not precise enough right now and is easily confused by the large crowd. I'll go back and refine it first, so I won't keep you company here."

Watching Doctor Banner walk towards the tower, Hyperion raised his voice and said, "Remember to attend dinner tonight."

"Sorry, I might..."

"Don't refuse, Bruce."

Before Doctor Banner could finish speaking, Hyperion forcibly interrupted him and then said with a melancholy expression.

"Our father is dead. I want to wait for Betty to come back and agree to your marriage in his place. So, I think it's better for you to participate in some family matters in advance."

Doctor Banner suddenly turned his head back and looked at Hyperion with an incredulous gaze. Finally, he nodded under the encouraging gaze of the other party.

"I will."

After speaking, Bruce Banner turned around again and walked towards the tower. This time, no one stopped him.

Watching Bruce Banner's back view, a trace of strangeness flashed in Hyperion's gaze, but it quickly disappeared without a trace. No one present noticed this brief abnormality.

...

Hyperion's actions, coupled with the impact of the epoch-making machine called Sentinel robot, caused an uproar in the world.

Especially the advent of the latter, the emergence of superhuman search technology was even more shocking. Even gang members who haven't gone to school and are so drugged up that they are unclear can know the gold content of this technology.

"This means that those freaks can no longer hide around us!"

A Black man with slurred speech was reprimanding his younger brother next to him, not noticing at all that his younger brother's expression was becoming increasingly ugly because of his explanation.

"Hey! Hand me my wine, kid!"

Black Boss hit his younger brother's head. The latter winced in pain and then broke free from his frightened appearance, cautiously handing the beer placed aside to the older brother.

"What's wrong with you, kid?" Black Boss then noticed something wrong with his younger brother. "Do you want to get high? I still have a little bit left. Make do with it. I don't have money right now."

"No, it's not." The younger brother smiled awkwardly. "I just have a belly..."

"Knock knock knock!"

"Who is it?" Black Boss shouted impatiently, then kicked the younger brother next to him. "Hurry up and open the door! If it's the cops, remember to knock the password."

The younger brother covered his butt and walked slowly towards the doorway. First, he glanced through the peephole and didn't see anything, but the door was still ringing non-stop. Because of his worries, the younger brother also became impatient.

"Who is it!"

The younger brother suddenly pulled open the gate and stepped out of the room, because he thought it was someone playing a prank on him, hiding in the corner that the peephole couldn't see and quietly knocking on the door.

But as soon as he stepped out of the door frame, he knew he was wrong. In a place that the peephole couldn't see, in the center of the corridor, stood a robot that was as tall as two meters, scraping off a layer of the corridor ceiling.

The younger brother was immediately shocked. This robot was exactly the same as the one on television this morning. It was the Sentinel robot known as the superhuman assassin.

"Superhuman individual detected."

Regardless of how shocked the human in presence was, the Sentinel robot still perfectly executed its mission. The pair of electronic eyes scanned the human's body and obtained an accurate answer.

Hearing that emotionless electronic voice, the younger brother felt as if he had fallen into an ice cave. Without even thinking, he relied entirely on his body's spontaneous reaction to run towards the room.

"Encountering resistance! Forced capture will now be executed!"

The light projected from the electronic eyes of the Sentinel robot changed from green to red. The propeller on its leg instantly opened, and the scorching flame ignited the carpet underfoot.

"Boom!"

The gate, along with the door frame, was shattered in an instant. The Black Boss inside the room was no longer very clear in his consciousness due to the effects of drugs and alcohol.

In his eyes, everything turned into slow motion. The first thing that caught his eye was his younger brother, a skinny street kid, commonly seen in America. But the steel behemoth with metallic luster behind him was not common.

"Am I really too high?" For the first time since his birth, the man uttered this question.

What surprised him even more happened next. His younger brother Armando actually lit up with light all over his body and then disappeared in his presence.
