Chapter 358 - Chapter 566-570

Chapter 566 Drax's Death

The spark of the battle ignited quickly, and died out just as quickly.

Looking at the Guardians of the Galaxy fallen on the ground, in Gamora's eyes this was natural. Everything she had was bestowed by Thanos, including her martial arts that she was so proud of. This was also her capital for being called the most dangerous woman in the entire universe.

Therefore, she was very clear about Thanos's strength. Thanos, who possessed four Infinity Stones, would only become stronger. The outcome of this battle was destined from the beginning.

The entire battle could only be described as lightning speed. After deflecting the bullet shot by Star-Lord, Thanos simply waved his hand and dealt with the entire Guardians of the Galaxy.

To put it simply, with a flash of spark from Thanos's gauntlet, the Guardians of the Galaxy were utterly defeated.

Corvus Glaive and Proxima Midnight didn't even have the opportunity to attack. Their boss was too strong; they could only suppress the Guardians of the Galaxy and the others after the battle ended.

"My daughter." Thanos walked back to Gamora's side as if nothing had happened. "Let's continue our topic from before. Where is the Soul Stone?"

Gamora remained silent for a moment, then said, "I don't know."

"I like your personality." Thanos looked at his daughter with satisfaction. "But I don't have time to play games with you now."

Thanos gently raised his left hand, and a yellow light quietly lit up. Gamora only glanced at it before losing consciousness. At the same time, all her memory poured into Thanos's brain.

"So it's here." Thanos' corner of mouth curled up, the light of the Mind Stone dissipated, and Gamora fell powerlessly to the ground.

"What did you do to her, you sweet potato head!" Star-Lord cursed loudly, but failed to make Thanos cast a glance at him for even a second.

"It's time to leave." Thanos turned around, and a blue light lit up. Corvus Glaive's voice rang out at this moment.

"Your Majesty, what about them?"

"I don't have time to care about them." Thanos didn't care about the Guardians of the Galaxy at all. Corvus Glaive did want to kill them all, but Thanos definitely wouldn't give him that time, so he could only choose to shut up.

A teleportation portal appeared, and the Power Stone that suppressed everyone also stopped working. Star-Lord rushed towards Gamora at the first moment, Rocket prepared to pick up his weapon, and Groot helped Mantis up.

Only Drax, at the first moment he lost suppression, pounced on Thanos. Deep hatred could not be delayed. Honest Drax didn't understand how to be flexible, so he wouldn't let go of any opportunity.

"Die! Thanos!" Drax roared angrily, but couldn't attract even a little bit of attention from his enemy.

"Whoosh!"

A stream of light rushed towards Drax at a speed invisible to the naked eye. The sharp light magnified in his eyes, until it pierced through his body.

"Puchi!"

Like Corvus Glaive, Proxima Midnight also had a weapon bestowed by Thanos. It was a spear that echoed the Ultimate Blade—the Proxima Midnight's Spear.

"This spear has incredibly powerful power." Proxima Midnight stood beside Thanos. "It's a pity you are not qualified to see its true identity."

Drax didn't care about these things. The Proxima Midnight's Spear only pierced through his shoulder and pinned him to the wall. This injury was not enough to make him stop.

"Ahhhhh!"

Drax yelled loudly, one hand gripped the spear, wanting to take himself off the spear, but unfortunately he couldn't succeed.

"Shua!"

After a clean sound of air being torn, Corvus Glaive retracted his war blade. Drax didn't understand what had happened and was still struggling, but he felt a chill coming from his belly.

He didn't understand what exactly happened, only heard Star-Lord and others calling out, some were angry, some were sad, until he looked at his lower body.

So… he had been cut open.

"Drax!" Star-Lord's eyes instantly turned red, and he rushed up to fight Corvus Glaive desperately, but felt a power coming from his chest. He lowered his head and found that it was Gamora in his arms who was grabbing his collar.

Gamora actually woke up when Drax rushed up, but the reason that the Mind Stone forcibly entered her brain made her consciousness a little blurry, which caused her to fail to pull Drax back in time.

Drax was dead, Gamora was also very sad and angry, but just relying on a bellyful of rage and then being completely annihilated, it was better to survive and fight for hope in the future.

Although Star-Lord was usually not serious, he was not stupid. After being pulled by Gamora, he immediately understood the latter's idea, but he just couldn't swallow this qi, but he couldn't break free from Gamora's restraint, so he couldn't stand up at all.

Rocket, who wanted to stand up, was also stopped by Gamora's gesture. They couldn't do anything now, they had to wait silently for Thanos to leave.

Drax's death couldn't affect Thanos at all. He walked towards the teleportation portal at a steady pace. Corvus Glaive pulled out the Proxima Midnight's Spear and threw it to Proxima Midnight. Seeing that no one stepped forward again, he could only follow Thanos with lingering interest.

The teleportation portal closed, and the Benatar fell into silence for the first time. This was still the first time since it left the factory.

After Thanos left, Gamora let go of Star-Lord who was controlled by her and stood up. She wiped away tears and said, "Clean up Drax."

It was necessary to clean up. Drax's blood and internal organs were left all over the ground. The blood smell constantly poured into everyone's noses present, reminding them at all times that a partner had just left them.

"Rocket, re-localize!" Star-Lord gritted his teeth and stood up from the ground.

"Localize? Go where?" Rocket asked subconsciously.

"Go find that old dog!" Star-Lord cursed. "I'm going to shove a gun into his chrysanthemum, and then pour out ammunition!"

"Calm down Quill!" Gamora frowned, she grabbed Star-Lord's body that kept shaking, but the latter simply shook off her hand cleanly.

"How can I calm down!" Star-Lord's eyes were blood red. "Drax died in front of my presence, we are TMD stepping on his blood!"

"Pa!" Gamora slapped Star-Lord, and the latter calmed down.

"And then what? Do you want to follow in Drax's footsteps? We are not Thanos's opponents! Except for blocking gun holes, we can't do anything!"

Gamora's words made Star-Lord slightly sober, but he still couldn't say anything. Gamora looked at him with pity, then said to Rocket.

"Start the engine Rocket, we continue to go to Earth."

"Why?" Rocket asked. "Didn't you say not to block gun holes?"

He hadn't forgotten that Gamora said that Earth was now surrounded by Thanos's army. Going there at this time was not as simple as blocking gun holes, it was going to block cannon holes.

"I understand my father." Gamora picked up the empty sandwich bag beside her and picked up Drax's internal organs. "He doesn't do useless work. Since he surrounded Earth, it means there are Infinity Stones there, and I noticed that there are only four gems on his hand."

"One of the vacancies is the Soul Stone that I know, and there must be another one on Earth. Thanos hasn't gotten it yet, we have to find it first."

"And then… destroy it!"

Chapter 567 Soul Stone and the Fifth General

"Swish!"

The purple and gloomy sky and dilapidated buildings filled his eyes. Everything before him made Thanos feel a bit dazed. This place was just like the planets he had destroyed before, devoid of any vitality.

After stepping out of the portal, Corvus Glaive and Proxima Midnight consciously moved to Thanos's presence, acting as guards. Even though their master was countless times stronger than them, the necessary etiquette could not be omitted.

The three of them started walking forward along the only road underfoot, until a figure hidden under a black robe appeared before them.

Corvus Glaive and Proxima Midnight immediately raised their weapons, blades and gun tips pointing at the figure before them simultaneously. But the latter showed no fear, and instead calmly opening his mouth.

"Welcome, Son of A'lars, Universe Emperor Thanos, and Leader of the Black Order Corvus Glaive and his wife Proxima Midnight."

"You seem to know us?" Thanos stared at the black-robed figure before him, waiting for the other party to give an explanation.

"Since I came here, I have been cursed." The black-robed figure raised his head, and in the dim light Thanos and the others could clearly see the figure's appearance. The scarlet skull face was indeed unique.

Red Skull slowly opening his mouth: "I know everyone who comes here, just like you."

"Where is the Soul Stone?" Thanos went straight to the purpose.

"It's right here." Red Skull slightly moved his body aside. "But I must warn you, obtaining it comes at a great price."

"I am prepared." Thanos's expression remained peaceful. "Always have been."

Having received the answer, Red Skull stopped the nonsense, signaled for everyone to follow, and turned to walk away. While Corvus Glaive and Proxima Midnight were still hesitating, Thanos had already strode forward to follow.

After walking along a road that was neither long nor short, they arrived at the summit. Two huge stone pillars pierced straight into the sky, like two door posts. The small road sandwiched in between led directly to the cliff.

"This is empty!" Corvus Glaive sternly rebuked Red Skull. "Are you playing us?"

"If it were the me of the past, perhaps." Red Skull sighed. "A long time ago, I also pursued these supreme powers, though not as legendary as you, but I did once touch one of them myself."

"It's a pity I am not the destined one. It abandoned me and discarded me here, leading others to treasure, but I myself can never obtain it."

"What does this mean?" Thanos walked to the edge of the cliff, asking Red Skull beside him.

"The Soul Stone is different." Red Skull explanation. "Its status is lofty, and to obtain it, one must pass a test."

"Tell me, what does it require?" Thanos's tone brooked no refusal.

"To ensure the user understands its power and its uniqueness, the Soul Stone requires your sacrifice." A strange light flashed in Red Skull's gaze.

"To obtain it, you must sacrifice the soul of your beloved, soul for soul."

After hearing Red Skull's words, everyone present exchanged glances. A bad premonition rose in Proxima Midnight's heart, and she immediately opening her mouth to speak.

"We will immediately go and capture two truly loving humans, please grant us some time, Your Majesty."

"No need." Thanos didn't turn around, still staring at the bottomless abyss underfoot, only the Mind Stone on his hand lit up with an eerie light.

"Clang!"

Proxima Midnight's body began to tremble uncontrollably, even the Proxima Spear in her hand slipped and fell to the ground. Corvus Glaive beside her was also affected. The two of them walked towards the cliff together.

"You shouldn't have spoken." Red Skull shook his head. The moment Proxima Midnight opened her mouth, everything was already decided.

Here, only Proxima Midnight and Corvus Glaive shared a bond that could be called true love. If she hadn't spoken, it would have shown she didn't care about Corvus Glaive's life and death, but she did speak and eagerly sought a substitute.

Whose substitute? A substitute for her beloved.

"No! Your Majesty! No!" Proxima Midnight roared. Before her was Corvus Glaive, just one step from the cliff. Under the control of the Mind Stone, her hand was relentlessly reaching towards her beloved.

"Snap."

Finally, before Proxima Midnight was nothing. Her beloved, who had been blocking her view, vanished without a trace. Instead, a gem shining with orange light appeared in her hand.

"Thanos!" Proxima Midnight roared in anger. Turning around, she waved her palm forward, and the Proxima Spear lying on the ground immediately flew into her hand. Just now, the Soul Stone had told her that Corvus Glaive, her beloved, would never return.

Orange light bloomed instantly. Proxima Midnight held the gem in one hand and the spear in the other, determined to fight Thanos to the death.

But Thanos merely snapped his fingers. After a flash of red light, Proxima Midnight, who had just been so awe-inspiring, turned into a pile of petals. The Soul Stone, now without a holder, fell to the ground but was summoned into Thanos's hand by the Space Stone.

Pinching up the Soul Stone, he embedded it into the opening. Looking at the single remaining opening, Thanos murmured, "One more to go."

He snapped his fingers again, and the petals transformed from Proxima Midnight gathered together once more. After a brief reorganization, they formed a new figure.

Snow-white from head to toe, with the same blue face as Proxima Midnight hidden beneath a white hood. The slender figure knelt before Thanos immediately after appearing.

"Thanos, my lord, please bestow a name upon me."

"Supergiant." Thanos faintly uttered a name. "I bestow upon you supreme power. Help me find that last gem; it is on Earth."

"Your will be done." Supergiant slowly raised her head, revealing a charming smile.

"What are we going to do now?" Rocket looked at the distant blue planet. Even as a space veteran, he had to admit that Earth's beauty was top-tier in the universe.

But at this moment, this beautiful planet was surrounded by a densely packed fleet. Obviously, just as Gamora had guessed, Thanos's fleet was still here. This proved they weren't too late, but...

"How are we supposed to get in?" Rocket patted the control panel before him. "These insects haven't even left us an opening!"

"Rushing in rashly, we'll just become space junk." Star-Lord was still cold, but at least he was communicating.

Gamora also frowned. She hadn't expected Thanos to deploy his entire fleet, leaving none to guard home, looking as if he wouldn't give up until he achieved his purpose.

Just when everyone was at a loss, a strange sound suddenly rang out.

"I believe I can help with this."

A gentle and peaceful sound, easy to gain favor. But for the Guardians of the Galaxy, who had just experienced something similar, this was more terrifying than anything.

"Who's there!" Star-Lord immediately drew his dual guns, aiming randomly at something. The rest of them were also like frightened birds.

"Wait, everyone." Mantis stopped the others. "This sound is coming from inside our brains."

(End of Chapter)

Chapter 568: Our Alliance

Compared to the other members of the Guardians of the Galaxy, Mantis, who had some skill in Mind Power, was the first to react.

The information that suddenly appeared just now was not like ordinary biological communication, relying on vocal cords to emit sounds, but appeared directly in their brains without going through the air.

"Very perceptive." A gentle voice praised. "I am indeed communicating with you through Telepathy."

"Get out of our heads right now." Star-Lord was very irritable. Drax's death had taken away his usual lightheartedness. Now, the slightest disturbance could enrage him, not to mention Mind Invasion, a method unacceptable to ordinary people.

"Who are you?" Gamora placed her hand on Star-Lord's shoulder, calming him down. "Why are you contacting us?"

In Gamora's view, the person who suddenly appeared in their minds was capable of communication. Otherwise, the other party wouldn't bother communicating with them. If they were enemies, the other party would have at least ten ways to deal with them.

"This is not the place to talk. Although it may be a little offensive, I need to take you to another place."

Another place? The Guardians of the Galaxy hadn't understood what the other party meant when they felt the scene in front of them change, and the surrounding environment suddenly changed.

"Where is this?" Gamora turned her head to scan the surroundings. They were no longer inside the familiar Benatar Spaceship, but in a spotless white, endless Room.

"This is Mind Space."

The gentle voice sounded again. Everyone looked in the direction of the voice and saw a guy wearing a black and blue Uniform, with skin almost as green as Gamora's and scarlet eyes. It was Yang Le, who had transformed into Martian Manhunter.

"Simply put, I have connected you all and pulled you into a Consciousness. Here, we don't have to worry about our conversation being eavesdropped on by anyone."

"Who would eavesdrop? And what are you afraid of?" Gamora stopped Star-Lord, who was about to lose his temper.

"Fear is not the word." Yang Le waved his hand, and a Figure appeared between him and the Guardians of the Galaxy. It was Thanos, who had beaten them up before and killed Drax.

The Guardians of the Galaxy were obviously psychologically traumatized by Thanos. They not only subconsciously distanced themselves, but their hands already reached for their Weapon, but they quickly realized that this was not the Real World, and they had no weapons on them.

"Thanos, this is exactly the Goal we are dealing with." Yang Le waved his hand again, and Thanos's Image immediately turned into the Infinity Gauntlet. "I think you should be clear about his Purpose, which is to obtain all the Infinity Stones and then combine them into the Infinity Gauntlet."

"When that time comes, with just a snap of his fingers, he can eliminate half of the Life in the Universe. I think you wouldn't want to see this happen either."

"No need to tell us, we will also go and kill that Purple Sweet Potato head." Star-Lord said fiercely.

"That's great." Yang Le floated in front of everyone. "In that case, we have the same Goal. I propose Cooperation here and share Intelligence."

"What can you provide?" Star-Lord calmed down. He didn't directly agree but instead asked Yang Le first. He wanted to see if Yang Le could provide anything of Value.

"There are four Infinity Stones on Earth, and Thanos has already taken three of them."

"We know that." Rocket interrupted Yang Le. "He has now also obtained the Power Stone originally stored on Xandar, and is now heading for the Soul Stone."

"You encountered him." Yang Le suddenly realized. He said why not only was Drax missing from the Guardians of the Galaxy, but Star-Lord and the others' emotions were also very unstable.

Without thinking, it must have been Thanos who raided them and obtained the Soul Stone Position after killing Drax. But now that Gamora is still here, how will Thanos obtain the Soul Stone?

Yang Le didn't wonder for too long. Gamora saw that Rocket had said everything that needed to be said, and without hiding anything, she told the whole story of what happened when they encountered Thanos from beginning to end.

Things were indeed pretty close to what Yang Le had guessed, and after hearing that Corvus Glaive and Proxima Midnight had also gone, Yang Le also guessed how Thanos would obtain the Soul Stone.

This made Yang Le extremely fortunate that he had contacted the Guardians of the Galaxy and others. This News was very crucial. He not only knew how many Gems Thanos had in his hand now, but also knew the News of Corvus Glaive's revival.

It seems that the Movie Universe is indeed somewhat different from the Real Movie. In that case, when facing the other Black Order members, he needs to be more careful. After all, the Black Order in the Comics is still very strong.

Putting aside others for now, just talking about Black Dwarf, who was almost expelled from the five Generals, in the Comics, this guy suppressed Gladiator, Super Skrull, and Annihilus alone. If it weren't for Ronan's sneak attack from behind, the battle situation would really be hard to say for a while.

If it's the loser in the Movie, everything is easy to say, but if he hasn't been weakened, then Black Dwarf does indeed have the Ability to confront Martian Manhunter head-on.

In this case, it would be difficult to stabilize the situation relying solely on Gutrot and Martian Manhunter. It has to be said that the Guardians of the Galaxy's News is indeed crucial.

"In this way, there is only one Infinity Stone left." Yang Le sighed, and unconsciously the Image of a certain big bald head appeared in his Mind.

"You just said there are four on Earth, and Thanos took three, which means there is still one left on Earth." Star-Lord calmly analyzed.

"That's indeed the case." Yang Le nodded. "I know who has that Gem, but we don't know where that person is."

"We are also here to find that Gem." Star-Lord frowned. "Maybe we can indeed cooperate, find that Gem and then destroy it."

Yang Le was taken aback. He didn't expect Star-Lord to be so insightful. Indeed, if they had destroyed a Gem from the beginning, maybe everything wouldn't have become so complicated.

"That is indeed a good Method." Yang Le nodded. "But unfortunately, it cannot be implemented."

"Why?" Star-Lord asked puzzledly.

"Because Earth still needs Infinity Stones for Reconstruction." Yang Le waved his hand, and the Tragedy on Earth was directly projected into the Minds of the Guardians of the Galaxy.

"The Damage Earth has suffered is basically impossible to Restore by Manpower. More than half of Humanity has died, a large number of Species Extinction, and even Plants have become extinct for more than half. The Seeds of Crops are even more precious than Gold."

"There is also a group of people on Earth resisting Thanos." Yang Le continued to say, looking at the silent Guardians of the Galaxy. "This is the result after my discussion with them, to snatch the Infinity Gauntlet from Thanos's hands and then Restore Earth."

"Including your Partners, they can also be Revived."

Chapter 569 Holland Version Peter

Originally, the Guardians of the Galaxy were still thinking about destroying the last Infinity Stone, but in the end, they were persuaded by Yang Le.

Abandoning the relatively simpler plan, they instead chose the riskier plan proposed by Yang Le.

In fact, the members of the Guardians of the Galaxy could also think of reviving Drax with the Infinity Gauntlet, but because of the powerful strength Thanos demonstrated, they subconsciously avoided the idea of seizing the Gauntlet.

In their subconscious, they didn't think they could defeat Thanos, so Gamora proposed the relatively simpler plan of destroying the gem.

Yang Le's evaluation of this plan was that it was safe but whimsical. The Infinity Stones are not so fragile, and Star-Lord and the others could not destroy them.

So Yang Le explained to them the sturdiness of the gem and also promoted the Resistance on Earth. Naturally, the Guardians of the Galaxy chose to take a gamble with Yang Le and the others.

However, they now had a primary problem to solve, which was how to enter Earth, which was surrounded by Thanos's Fleet.

To this, Yang Le could only say it was very simple.

Yang Le said, "I will put everyone in the fleet closest to you offline for a while later. You can take this opportunity to sneak in."

Thanos's Fleet was not surrounding Earth as densely as ants surrounding food. That would not only be inefficient but also a waste of resources.

They were like setting up sentry posts, arranging a fleet within a certain distance, with this fleet guarding this area.

So as long as Yang Le used Telepathy to make the people in one fleet lose consciousness for a while, then Star-Lord and the others could sneak into Earth without anyone noticing.

Star-Lord did not agree with this plan because he did not believe that there was a Telepath who could make everyone in an entire fleet unconscious, but Mantis, who had newly joined the Team, chose to believe Yang Le.

Star-Lord asked her why, and Mantis replied because she did not feel anything evil from Yang Le's Spirit, which meant he had no Conspiracy and genuinely wanted to help them.

With Mantis's guarantee, Star-Lord and the others, who had no other method, could only choose to take a gamble. Yang Le then released them from the Mind Space, letting them wait for his Order and then break into Earth in one fell swoop.

"This is the craziest decision I've ever made," Star-Lord commented. Gamora, who was beside him, saw his unease, hesitated for a moment, and then took his hand.

"Don't worry, I'm here with you," Gamora said, meeting Star-Lord's surprised Expression with a slight smile.

"Then I'm indeed afraid of nothing," Star-Lord replied with a smile, and then Yang Le's Sound came into his Brain.

"Now!"

"Been waiting for ages!" Rocket slammed on the Accelerator, and the Benatar's Speed instantly reached its Limit, rushing towards the nearest Fleet like a beam of light.

...

Yang Le opened his Eyes. Under his arrangement, the Guardians of the Galaxy had already passed through Thanos's Fleet's blockade and were advancing towards the Atmosphere. It was estimated that they would be able to land at the designated Location soon.

To be honest, Star-Lord and the others were not initially in Yang Le's Plan, because according to the normal Plot, most of the Guardians of the Galaxy would not come to Earth before the first snap.

Obviously, the deterioration of the Plot had shifted from Thanos to the Guardians of the Galaxy. Based on the Principle of "more people, more Power," Yang Le, who was monitoring Thanos's Fleet with Telepathy, naturally contacted them and persuaded them to join the battle.

There was no method. Earth was really short of people. Yang Le really couldn't come up with a Plan to defeat Thanos relying only on these people, so he naturally had to use every Plan he could utilize.

Although it was a bit discouraging, if he couldn't defeat Thanos with this group of people from the Movie Universe, Yang Le would have to activate his Plan B.

However, unless absolutely necessary, Yang Le was still not prepared to admit defeat. At least he wanted the people of the Movie Universe to make an Effort before saying anything else.

Yang Le's small Goal now was to first bring the Super Heroes of the Movie Universe to a normal level, and now he was about to do just that.

Passing through metal Gates of the Base, Yang Le quickly arrived at the area of the Laboratory. This was originally the place where Grey Matter conducted Experiments, but now it had been occupied by Tony, Bruce Banner, and Shuri.

Tony and Bruce Banner were like teenagers in puberty who had been celibate for a long time, drooling over those high-tech Technologies. After seeing their previous harsh Environment, Yang Le said that this was understandable.

The Soil Pit they had previously used as a Base was even harsher than the Cave where Tony was kidnapped. This was really tough for these three inventors and Scientists.

As soon as they entered the Plumbers' Laboratory, they began their respective Enhancement Plans. Tony began to use the Ingredients of the Laboratory to build Armor, while Doctor Banner wanted to use Biotechnology to find out the Reason why he could not transform into Hulk.

Shuri also seemed to be building Weapons, but she seemed to be stuck in a bottleneck, constantly thinking and not taking action.

In short, the three of them were busy with their own things and had no time to pay attention to Yang Le at all, but this also suited Yang Le's Intentions, as he had not come to find them in the first place.

"Hello," Yang Le greeted gently, but the Teenager in front of him was still startled. "Peter Parker, right?"

"Oh! Oh, hello!" Peter first shuddered, and then greeted Yang Le in a flustered manner.

"If there are no other Peter Parkers here, then I am Peter Parker. I mean, this does sound really silly, but for the sake of accuracy, I have to confirm it again, in case you are looking for the wrong person."

With just one question, the Teenager in front of him rattled off a whole bunch of words like a machine gun, making Yang Le, who was already used to dealing with Spider-Man, couldn't help but frown.

"Calm down, kid, calm down," Yang Le stopped Parker, who had Tom Holland's Face, from his meaningless Nonsense.

The latter shuddered again, then hurriedly covered his Mouth, only revealing a pair of big Eyes looking at Yang Le, waiting for his next Words.

"I'm here just to tell you that I have a method to let you obtain Power, the Power you were supposed to obtain."

"The Power I was supposed to obtain?" Peter muttered softly. "I don't understand, sir, what do you mean by that?"

"I am from another Universe, Peter. I believe Tony has already told you all of this," Yang Le glanced at Tony, who was working enthusiastically. "After all, you are the Student he chose, aren't you?"

"Yes, sir," Peter nodded in agreement. "Mr. Stark told me everything on the way here."

"Very good, then I'll make it short," Yang Le nodded with satisfaction. "In other Universes, I have also met many Peter Parkers, some of whom are even my close friends, and they all have a kind of Power."

"The Power of the Spider-Totem."

(End of Chapter)

# Chapter 570: Spider-Man's Heroic Return

Yang Le was still somewhat surprised when he first saw the Holland version of Peter Parker. After all, according to the Timeline given by the Movie Universe and the Time Steve and the others mentioned, Peter shouldn't have obtained Spider Superpower when Thanos invaded Earth.

Back then, Peter should have still been a Child who hadn't even started his High School Career. Yang Le hadn't held much hope for his survival.

But he had survived. Not only that, but he had also entered the Shelter established by the Avengers and, relying on his intelligence, became a student of Tony, Bruce Banner, and Shuri.

That's right, in the current Timeline, Peter was not only noticed by Tony, but also, possibly due to a shortage of Manpower and being the tallest among the dwarves, the inherently intelligent Peter naturally became the most outstanding student.

This identity seemed glorious, but only Peter knew the hardships within. Doctor Banner was alright, but Tony and Shuri were both weirder than the other.

One of them was arrogant, and the other looked down on external Technology. Because they both had lost their families, they were both somewhat neurotic. Although they wouldn't resort to Beating and Scolding, there were still plenty of verbal sarcasms.

It wasn't until Doctor Banner couldn't stand it anymore and reminded them that Peter was just an ordinary Child, that he had never received better Education before, and that he had also lost his Family, that Peter's situation improved a lot.

Yes, Aunt May, the graceful Aunt May from the Movie Universe, had died. She died in one of the Wars during Thanos's invasion of Earth. This was also why Peter was studying at School with such determination.

He wanted to rely on his own Power to avenge his only Family, Aunt May. It was a pity that the Shelter was short of Resources. Peter had no Opportunity for practice other than Study. His grand plan for revenge could only be postponed again and again, ultimately dragging on until today.

Just now, Tony and the others had also calculated that although there were many Supplies in the Heavenly Craftsmanship Guild Base, they were not abundant enough to withstand extravagant waste. This dashed Peter's plan to go to the Battlefield.

Firstly, Tony and the others would never allow an ordinary Child to go to the Battlefield. The Courses from the three Scientists already occupied most of Peter's Time. He simply had no Time to learn Combat Skills.

Moreover, Tony and the three others intentionally wanted to cultivate him into a scientific researcher who could stand alone after their Death and help Humanity pass on Knowledge. This meant that the better Peter performed and the more he learned, the less likely Tony and the others would be to let him go to the Battlefield.

This was miserable for Peter. He was studying to personally kill his Enemy, but the current Situation was completely different from what he had initially envisioned. Therefore, facing the suggestion Yang Le put forward, he agreed almost without hesitation.

To prevent being interrupted by others, Yang Le specifically brought Peter to the Bedroom assigned to him.

"May I ask what exactly I need to do?" Peter took a deep breath to calm his Mood. On the way here, he had been talking non-stop. Being someone who habitually talked when nervous, he had poured out all his experiences over the past few years like beans from a bamboo tube.

"Stand quietly in the Original Place," Yang Le said, extending a Hand. "Then just extend your Hand."

Seeing this, Peter obediently extended his Right Hand. Then he saw the Martian Manhunter's middle finger fingertip begin to deform. Finally, in his horrified Gaze, a Dark Green Spider the size of a Nail 'drilled' out from the Martian Manhunter's fingertip.

"This is!" Peter only felt his Body go numb. A Spider drilling out from under the Skin? He felt that he was already very brave for not running away immediately.

"This is a Spider mimicked using my own Ability," Yang Le explained. Although it looked like it drilled out, in reality, this Spider was mimicked from his own fingertip Skin.

Moreover, this was not an ordinary Spider. It was a Radioactive Infected Spider that Yang Le had perfectly replicated one-to-one at the Molecular Level using the Martian's powerful Mimicry Ability. There was no Question that Martians had this Ability.

Martian Girl had once used this Ability to transfuse Blood to Beast Boy and save the latter, but it also allowed the latter to gain the Ability to Transformation. This showed that Martians could indeed completely mimic other Species, but the mimicked things would become ineffective once they left their Body or for other Reasons.

But Yang Le would not let the Spider leave his Body now, so the Spider would not become ineffective. As for worrying that Peter would turn into a Beast Spider-Man after being bitten by the Martian Spider? Yang Le felt that the probability of this happening was almost zero.

This was because Spider-Man was on the Magic side. Their Abilities came from the Spider Totem. Being bitten by a Spider was just one of the ways to let the Spider Totem reside in their Body. Those Radioactive Venom would not give them Power.

What Yang Le wanted to do was to use the mimicked Spider to bite Peter, so that the Power of the Spider Totem could justifiably come to him. After all, this Power originally belonged to him.

Besides, Yang Le was so familiar with the Spider-God, and he had even saved his Life. Even if not for the monk's sake, for the Buddha's sake, the other party would give him this Respect. If he didn't give Respect, he would let Karn beat him up again.

Yang Le, who was fully Prepared, Controlled the Spider to jump onto Peter, who was stiff all over, and bit him on the back of his Hand in his horrified Gaze.

"Ouch!" Peter first cried out in pain, then subconsciously flung his hand, and Yang Le also took back his Spider in passing.

"Is it over? Sir?" Peter looked at Yang Le in a cowardly manner. It had to be said that the Martian Manhunter's tall Body and Red Eyes had a kind of imposing presence.

"It's over." Yang Le activated Microscopic Vision and X-Ray Vision, looking at Peter's DNA that was constantly changing, and nodded in satisfaction. He knew that the Spider-God would give him this Respect.

"Next, you may feel Dizziness, Body aches, and the like. This is a normal Phenomenon. Have a good Sleep, and Everything will be over when you wake up."

"Uh, okay." Peter looked at Yang Le walking Outside the door with suspicion. To be honest, he didn't feel those Feelings at this time. Just when he thought something had happened, Peter only felt his vision go black, and then he fell to the Ground.

"Have a good Dream." Yang Le heard the Sound of falling to the Ground behind him and Whispers with a smile.

"There's nothing here except Ruins stretching as far as the eye can see." Rocket jumped onto a Stone Block. "That Hulk even asked us to wait for him here. If I had known Earth was like this, I might as well have run off to hire a few Desperados!"

"Stop complaining, Rocket." Gamora vigilantly surveyed the Situation around them. "Under Thanos's Invasion, Earth's current Appearance is a normal Phenomenon. We should be thankful that there are still Living persons."

Rocket curled his lip when he heard this. Just as he was about to retort, he saw something drilling out from under his Foot, startling him so much that he rolled off the Stone Block in a fluster.

"Welcome everyone." Yang Le greeted the wary Guardians of the Galaxy with a smile. "We have been eagerly awaiting your arrival."
