Moonpiercer Sword Art – First Movement: Lunar Shadow Slash
Numerous streaks of silver tore through the sky as Sangrelia, coated in dense and potent Lunar Qi, trailed after Tharvonis and tried to cut down the Varnari genius, but unfortunately—
Unfortunately he was like a slippery eel, using his far superior speed, sharp battle sense, and vast experience to maneuver and evade Mikael's barrage of rapid sword strikes.
Flash, swish, cut.
Just as Tharvonis slightly moved his body to evade another of Mikael's Lunar Shadow Slashes, a large and majestic-looking halberd suddenly materialized and landed right into his hand before the latter swung it at Mikael with overwhelming force.
His halberd swing was brutally overbearing, carrying an immense 'weight', as if it could crush a planet itself!
'No matter the strength or power, it needs to hit to matter…' the next moment Mikael proved his thought true as he bent backward in a movement that would have snapped any mortal's spine.
He felt terrifyingly powerful winds tear past his head and ruffle his hair as the halberd harmlessly passed above him, yet no matter how violent those winds were, as long as it wasn't a direct hit, Mikael's dreadfully powerful body remained completely unaffected.
Moonpiercer Sword Art – Second Movement: Eclipsing Crescent Cut
Just as Tharvonis's arm was extended and consequently vulnerable, Mikael unleashed a powerful Eclipsing Crescent Cut aimed straight at it, trying to sever the limb cleanly but—
The Varnari was too swift, managing to pull back his arm an instant before Sangrelia could slice it off. Tharvonis didn't let this near amputation shake him; instead, he immediately counterattacked with another vicious strike!
Mikael narrowly evaded and retaliated with his own counter, which was once again met by Tharvonis, and this exchange repeated itself again and again without pause, each attack flowing seamlessly into the next.
At that point the fight between these two dreadfully powerful warriors looked less like the life and death struggle that it truly was and more like a beautiful but deadly dance where every single move was calculated with precision, like in a fatal game of chess!
And in a way, it wouldn't really be wrong to call it that, as with both of these warriors being extremely skilled fighters, they were able to use their own advantages to read their opponent before acting in consequence, adapting fluidly to each new movement.
It was precisely because both of them were capable of so easily reading the other that the current scene unfolded as it did, one where they continuously tried to anticipate and stay a step ahead, each seeking to land a strike yet each time being countered just as quickly, their exchanges blending into a seamless chain of motion where strength, instinct and skill became indistinguishable.
Even though they were clashing countless times with every passing moment, neither of them was able to land any meaningful attack on the other!
Clank, clank, clank.
Mikael's Sangrelia and Tharvonis's various weapons, ranging from his fists, feet, halberd, spear, sword, hammer and more, continued to clash in a ceaseless barrage, each impact producing loud metallic echoes and shockwaves powerful enough to easily raze an entire town from the 'weak' aftershocks alone!
Earlier, Tharvonis had suddenly stopped fighting with his body and launched a strike with a weapon—a spear—which nearly caught Mikael off guard, but he was far too experienced, especially with his Precognition, to be taken by surprise like that, and so even with Tharvonis's sneak attack, he remained completely uninjured.
Starting from that moment the Varnari genius had stopped using only his body to battle as he had realized that his body was 'weaker' than Sangrelia, so each time they clashed he suffered minor cuts on the body part that met Mikael's sword.
For a Varnari with a bloodline of his potency it was nothing, even with Mikael's Sword Intent, but he understood that this couldn't continue or else these 'injuries' would accumulate, ultimately putting him at a disadvantage, fortunately—
While Tharvonis, like the majority of Varnari, preferred to fight with his own body and this was where he was the most proficient, he was also an extremely skilled weapon master on various weapons, varying from sword, spear, halberd, hammer and more…
And these weapons were in his storage ring so starting from this moment he minimized using only his body and began to favor these weapons to clash against Mikael's Sword!
Clash, klang, swish, shoomp!
Mikael and Tharvonis continued to clash with extreme violence and power, yet they remained locked in the same stalemate as before, with nothing much happening in terms of the fight progressing or changing.
A little more than 30 seconds into the battle and after having crossed a large distance, Mikael decided to change his approach, understanding that if he stayed in the same stalemate as earlier, days could pass without the fight advancing!
'Time to kick things up a notch!' thought Mikael just as he saw Tharvonis thrust his spear in a move that promised to hit 'nothing' if it followed the previous 'cycle'…
Crackles.
The instant he had this thought, Mikael's Myriad Lightning Convergence Physique +++ came to life, and the Purple Lightning Qi within his dantian became extremely active, faint, illusory sounds of lightning even sounded in Mikael's ears as this violent Qi came to life with violence!
If previously, under his Purple Lightning Harmonization Art control, the Purple Lightning Qi was only passively enhancing the power of his various Cultivation Techniques, now it was clear that it wouldn't be playing a passive role anymore, but an… active one!
And the reason behind this sudden surge of liveliness from his Special Physique was that years ago when he was learning to control and use his Myriad Lighting Convergence Physique +++ he didn't only create a single Cultivation Technique but actually created two!
And this second Cultivation Technique was named Myriad Lightning Fusion Art:

Level: Peak Stage Core Formation Art
Introduction: After the Purple Lighting Harmonization Art was created, Mikael Angelini newly acquired Myriad Lighting Convergence Physique +++ stopped 'battling' against him and began to work for him in a passive way.
This allowed him to grow stronger compared to before this Special Physique acquisition and this was the moment where he began to draw upon the depths of the Myriad Lightning Convergence Physique +++, but merely starting to tap into its power wasn't enough for Mikael Angelini.
It was far from enough so he researched ways to actively use the Myriad Lighting Convergence Physique +++ to drastically boost his battle power and after a lot of research he succeeded which gave birth to the Myriad Lighting Fusion Art.
This Cultivation Technique, like the Purple Lighting Harmonization Art before it, only works on Cultivation Technique and not on Cultivation Method for the same reasons as the other Cultivation Technique.
What Myriad Lighting Fusion Art does differently compared to the Purple Lighting Harmonization Art is that it takes its base and then takes it multiples step further than anything this passive Cultivation Art is able to do!
If using the example of executing Moonpiercer Sword Art, the Purple Lighting Harmonization Art would have for example transformed the Purple Lighting in a drastically enhanced Lunar Qi which would have used the Purple Lighting Qi as the base but as it core would still have become Lunar Qi, with the Art working on a principle of transformation or otherwisely called…harmonization.
The Myriad Lighting Fusion Art work on a different principle, the principle of fusion in a way that if we use the same example as above, the Purple Lighting Qi wouldn't transform into Lunar Qi but would fusion with it!
A fusion which would give birth to an enhanced form of Qi, one which would combine the best properties of both Qi together which would give rise to a new type of higher quality Qi which in this case would be aptly named Purple Lighting Lunar Qi!
A higher quality Qi which would be multiple times stronger than even the drastically enhanced Lunar Qi caused by the Purple Lighting Harmonization Art.
Unfortunately as this higher quality can't come from nowhere and the fact that this is an 'active' transformation above an 'passive' one, from a Qi point of view this is rather costly but the trade off is totally worth it as it allows to burst out with a far stronger Qi!
Note: To upgrade and refine this Cultivation Technique further it would be immensely recommended to focus on upgrading it in a way that the Myriad Lighting Fusion Art would also work on Cultivation Methods and not only with Cultivation Techniques.]
Purple Lighting Mode – Cloudbreaking Stride
Purple lighting crackled in Mikael's eyes at the same moment as a 'cloak' of Purple Lighting wrapped itself around his legs as he executed the enhanced Cloudbreaking Stride.
Swish.
Instantly his speed multiplied and he moved like a blur but he didn't try to move away from Tharvonis spear but moved right into its path and into Tharvonis guard!

Tharvonis expression grew tenser as he warily eyed Mikael whose speed had suddenly multiplied because he used some Lighting Art and who was now into his guard.
'What is he planning!?' Tharvonis thought warily as he raised his guard a notch higher, while all of his attention focused itself onto Mikael, as he readied himself to counterattack the moment Mikael attacked after having evaded his spear…
The spear rapidly grew closer and closer to Mikael, up to a point where the tip nearly touched the human skin, at that moment Tharvonis was as alert as he could be, understanding that Mikael will move at any moment but…then—
Squlech.
'!!!!'
Tharvonis expression morphed into one of absolute shock and stupor as he saw his spear pierce right through Mikael's stomach without the latter trying to evade or do anything!
Even for a warrior as experienced as Tharvonis something like that was still shocking and baffled him in a way that for a moment he was so shocked that his guard faltered…
When Mikael felt the 'pleasant' sensation of his flesh being pierced he was tense, not because of the pain as he didn't care about that but simply…simply because he was making a gamble and he knew it but—
Grin.
When he sensed that Tharvonis shock was enough to have him release his guard for the briefest of instant…he couldn't contain himself and a predatory grind made its way on his lips.
'This is bad!' seeing this grin Tharvonis instantly realized that something wasn't right and instinctively he tried to pull back his spear but he couldn't as Mikael was clenching his stomach on it!
When his Varnari golden eyes met the galaxy like one of Mikael in which was delving arcs of Purple Lighting he felt his heart skip a beat because what he saw in the human warrior gaze was like he told him, 'Got You!'
Purple Lighting Mode – Ferocity Mark III – Stage 2
Myriad Lighting Convergence Physique +++ – 100%
Not intending to waste this opportunity he paid for in blood Mikael didn't hold back anymore and instantly his Trump Cards erupted at once.
BOOM!, CRACKLES! WHOOOMMM!
Mikael entire body was covered in deadly arc of purple lighting, that crackled with overwhelming power while at the same time a blood red aura erupted outward, sign that his vitality had beginning to burn and when both came together—
It gave him the aura of a Vengeful Thunder God coming for Tharvonis head!
But even this terrifying aura was nothing compared to how deadly Sangrelia felt, as an instant after he activated the special Ferocity Mark III he concentrated all the bursting out power into Sangrelia, all into a single deadly Celestial Moon's Embrace.

Tharvonis cursed and without further ado he let go of his spear and began to back away but—
