"So, Hank, let's start today's recruitment," Charles said to Hank while he put on the helmet for the cerebro.
Hearing what Charles said, he started the machine, while Erik kept looking at him. Charles, like last time, began looking for new mutants so that he could fight against Shaw.
As soon as he closed his eyes, he saw the world against a white background, with Erik, Hank, Raven, and Erik(MC) in red. Each was doing different things: Erik(MC) was eating while Raven was in her room. Although he could sense Erik(MC), he couldn't read his mind.
Well, that's not the issue now. He expanded his telepathic range, and soon he sensed people outside the CIA headquarters, scanning the whole of Virginia. There are many mutants, but most of them are children below 12, and I don't want them to fight at that age, though I would reconsider if the red colour around them is deeper, because that means they have a strong mutation, which is the reason I brought Erik(MC) here.
So as he was looking for a period, he found 2 people suitable in age, one was a boy and a girl. The boy was in Boston, near a river,
'Wait, is that sound he's producing from his mouth!' Charles thought while a telepathic projection formed near the boy, which he couldn't see, because if he did, he would scream at seeing a ghost.
'I could mark him for now, so let's move to the next one,' Charles thought, while his spiritual body moved to the next location.
Arlington, Virginia. Just across the river from Langley.
When he reached the place, he saw that there was no one on the shore, just an empty campsite with a fire lit in the centre. Though he didn't go, because he could sense a person inside the river,
He didn't wait for long because someone jumped out of the river, landing on the shore, with a fish in hand. Water dripping down the bare body, walked towards the fire, through the walk claw popped out of the person's hand. Cut the fish and clean the insides. After reaching the fire, a small branch on the ground was picked up. And stabbed the dead fish on the stick and placed it near the fire so it could get cooked.
Then the person picked up another branch and held it in their hand while staring at the fire,
Suddenly, threw it towards Charles, and Charles, seeing this, instinctively ducked.
The person who threw the branch had black hair, water was dripping through the hair, and splashed at the sudden turn of the head. The hair also moved in a circular path. Sharp cheekbones, with golden-brow eyes, with a medium-sized chest and long legs, the person was a girl.
When she looked behind her, she appeared confused, as she felt someone was there, although she couldn't see who it was.
Slowly, claws started popping out of her fingernails, on her hands and legs, pupils changed to black slits like a cat. She bowed her head, ready to pounce, so as not to make the situation difficult, Charles marked the girl and stopped using the cerebro.
Although he wants to use the Cerebro, he is currently not strong enough to use it for a long duration of time. So his daily limit of using the cerebro is for half an hour.
