Chapter 650 - Chapter 640: Power of Sinnoh

In Heartglade City, the city lord stared intently toward Heartglade Forest. Beside her, Mesprit floated quietly, worry evident in its eyes. It could sense just how fierce the battle within the forest had become. Even from such a distance, the evil deathly aura still affected it, causing waves of weakness to wash over its body.

Yet for the sake of protecting Heartglade City, it persevered, light flashing in its eyes as it maintained a protective barrier. Otherwise, under Yveltal's power, everything would have been swallowed by death, and this land would have lost all life.

At that moment, Mesprit suddenly froze, sensing an abrupt change in the world—a change that carried power belonging to them. Without hesitation, it closed its eyes and began to resonate with the surrounding forces, allowing its emotional energy to merge into the world.

Suddenly, it was as if the emotions of all living beings across the Sinnoh Region were connected. Unconsciously, countless lives began to murmur prayers, pouring their emotional energy into the world. In Aspiration City and Wisdomhall City, Azelf and Uxie sensed the change as well, simultaneously merging their willpower and knowledge into nature.

At this moment, the entire Sinnoh Region seemed to come alive, as though it possessed its own soul—one that encompassed will, emotion, and knowledge.

Abruptly, Lilligant opened its eyes. Fixing its gaze on Yveltal in the sky, it directly mobilized the tremendous power it had just obtained!

Yveltal continued to vent its fury, but in the next instant, its movements suddenly froze. It felt an overwhelming force pressing down upon it! It struggled desperately, trying to break free, yet the power it once believed could reduce the entire world to nothing now felt utterly powerless.

As though its throat were being seized, Yveltal felt suffocating pressure bearing down upon it, so heavy that even breathing became difficult. At the same time, the Dark Aura surrounding its body began to collapse under the might of nature.

Or rather, natural energy was devouring Yveltal's Dark Aura—because even darkness itself was a part of nature. All beings within nature inevitably experience the cycle of life and death. Birth and demise repeat endlessly; this is the law of nature. Nature embraces everything—and that includes Yveltal.

At this moment, even the Pokémon beside Lilligant stopped their actions, staring in astonishment at Lilligant and Aven. They could faintly sense what was happening on the battlefield.

"Is this… the power of the entire Sinnoh Region?" Aven looked up at the struggling Yveltal. Even he had not anticipated such a transformation between himself and Lilligant.

He was the King of Sinnoh, acknowledged by the Lake Guardians and wielding the power of the Creator God. Lilligant was a Pokémon capable of controlling nature, merging itself with the natural world. Through the power of Mega Evolution, the two had become tightly connected, allowing the Creator God's power within Aven to flow into Lilligant and transform it into the spirit of nature for the entire Sinnoh region.

If Sinnoh truly had a soul, then this must be what it looked like—Aven thought to himself. Under such overwhelming power, even an existence like Yveltal could not resist. It was the power of an entire Region; compared to it, even an overgod Pokémon seemed insignificant. The Creator God could create all things—and destroy all things as well.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Yveltal's Dark Aura shattered continuously, space itself collapsing in the process. Gradually, the deathly power surrounding Yveltal dispersed, its form shrinking until it finally vanished. Yveltal itself could not truly die. As long as life existed, it could be reborn in the form of a Cocoon of Destruction, awaiting the next cycle.

"It's over…" Seeing this, Aven finally let out a sigh of relief. Lilligant slowly floated back to his side, and man and Pokémon exchanged a knowing smile—they had both undergone a profound transformation.

"Lilligant, use the last of your power to restore this place."

Lilligant nodded. Its energy flowed back into nature, causing the once-dead land to regain vitality and spread across the entire Region. At that moment, countless beings across Sinnoh felt images surface in their minds—visions of the battle, of Yveltal, of Lilligant, and of Aven.

"It's Lord Aven—Lord Aven!"

"We won! That must have been the source of the disaster!"

"Lord Aven has driven away the calamity! The disasters of this world will fade, and we will welcome a new hope!"

As if awakening from a dream, the people of Sinnoh opened their eyes and looked around, only to discover that the land—once rendered lifeless by disaster—was blooming with vitality once again.

Reconstruction across the Sinnoh Region continued steadily in every region.

With the help of Pokémon, everything progressed in an orderly and efficient manner.

Once the reconstruction phase officially began, the Pokémon construction teams could be said to be the busiest of all. They were tasked with building city after city in the shortest possible time, racing against the clock to restore civilization to its former state.

After successfully eliminating the threat of Yveltal, Aven brought his Pokémon back to the Pokémon Domain.

"Aven, are you leaving again?"

Outside Fairhaven Town, Mira looked at Aven, who had three Pokémon following closely behind him and a backpack slung over his shoulders.

Aven turned back and smiled helplessly. "Yeah. There's still one last hard battle to fight. Once Hoopa Unbound is dealt with, everything can finally come to a close."

"Hoopa… does that mean you're going to the Kalos Region?" Mira's face filled with worry.

"Yes. I'll have to make a trip there. But before that, I need to go to Michina first."

"Since I've inherited the power of the Creator God, I must fulfill the responsibility that comes with it—resealing Hoopa Unbound."

With a gentle smile, Aven walked toward Mira. However, just as he took a few steps forward, a surge of psychic power suddenly enveloped him, and his figure vanished from the spot.

In front of the Great Marsh west of Aspiration City, Aven appeared while still maintaining the gesture of reaching forward. Two fingers rubbed awkwardly together in midair before he withdrew his hand and scratched his nose.

"Let's go. We're heading to Michina."

Upon hearing his words, Lilligant, Froslass, and Gardevoir happily floated to his side. As Gardevoir used Teleport once more, their figures vanished again.

After teleporting several times in succession, Aven arrived at Mirevale City behind the Great Marsh and continued onward.

Guided by a faint yet special sense, Aven adjusted their direction constantly. After traveling tirelessly for three whole days, they finally arrived at a completely isolated place.

This was an extremely desolate land. A solitary temple stood quietly upon the barren earth. Looking at the temple before him, Aven closed his eyes and carefully sensed the Creator God's power surging continuously through the surroundings.

At that moment, a priestess emerged from within the temple. Seeing Aven standing before it, she bowed respectfully.

"Your Majesty Aven, I have been waiting for you for a long time."

"Yes. After receiving the High Priest's message, I came straight here," Aven nodded, a hint of surprise flickering in his eyes.

From her body, he could sense a strange energy—similar to the power of the Creator God, yet distinctly different. This must be the legendary Aura of the Chosen, the so-called Aura of the Overcomers.

Following behind the High Priest, they entered the temple. The first thing that caught Aven's eye was a mural depicting a Pokémon shaped like a horse, surrounded by stone tablets. He instantly realized that it was Arceus.

In another mural, he unexpectedly saw an engraving of Hoopa Unbound. Beside it was the image of a human holding a bottle, standing in direct confrontation with Hoopa.

A human capable of opposing Hoopa Unbound —this sight caused Aven to narrow his eyes slightly. If his guess was correct, the human depicted in the mural must also have possessed the power of the Creator God!

"This is the first High Priest of the Michina Temple," the High Priest explained.

"Back then, it was the first High Priest who used the power of the Creator God to create the Prison Bottle and sealed Hoopa Unbound."

Seeing Aven stop in front of the mural, the High Priest stepped forward and told him the story of the first High Priest and Hoopa Unbound.

From the story, it was clear that the Shiny Hoopa's heart was extremely dark, containing all the malice of this world. It could use its rings to control and twist the will of living beings!

"The line of High Priests of the Michina Temple has been passed down for this very purpose," the High Priest clasped her hands together. "Therefore, we must reseal Hoopa Unbound as soon as possible."

"Seal Hoopa…" Aven nodded softly. This was precisely why he had come to Michina. "Then please tell me what I need to do, High Priest."
