"That was amazing, Alex," Lavinia said as she held her lover's hands. "Your song touched my heart."
"Really?" Alex smiled.
"Yes. It was wonderful."
"Of course. I sang with everything I had, you know?"
Latifa, Evangeline, Nessia, Princess Xenia, Mary, Eleanora, and the rest of Latifa's Alters looked at Lavinia in disbelief.
They were still writhing, tremendously suffering. All of them. No exception. Alex's voice itself was a calamity.
"Hey, is this what they call 'love is deaf'?" Lulu whispered in Lumi's ear.
"Isn't it supposed to be 'love is blind'?" Lumi corrected.
The two were whispering to each other, while the rest of Alex's lovers all silently agreed that they should just forget what happened.
At least for now.
Latifa and Evangeline also had a serious discussion. They unanimously agreed to ask Alex not to sing on any special occasion. Actually, they need to make sure he would never ever sing at all.
