"Um, shouldn't you go back to practice?" Astrea asked. "I heard you are doing some special training. Frankly, I really want to hear you sing."
"I'd love to let you hear it as well," Alex replied. "Unfortunately, I can't. Not now. I made a promise to Professor Arienna."
"I see. What a shame. I really wanted to hear your singing voice."
"Don't worry. I'll make sure to sing properly in the inter-academy tournament. I'll even dedicate my song to you."
"Really?" Astrea's eyes lit up after hearing Alex's words. "That's a promise! Don't break it, okay?"
"Okay." Alex nodded. "I promise."
Astrea raised her pinky finger, which made Alex smirk in response. The two then shared a pinky promise before parting ways.
When the young lady was no longer in sight, Lumi suddenly materialized out of thin air and gave Alex a teasing smile.
"How cute. A pinky promise," Lumi said before reaching out to hold Alex's hand. "How about we make one too?"
