Alex spent the next few days in a carefree manner.
His strength slowly returned. Although he had yet to make a full recovery, he believed he would be back to normal in a week or two.

Alex blinked as he watched the little bun blow the candles on his birthday cake while Chuck and Vaan clapped happily.
"Dim Dim!" Dim Dim puffed its body proudly, declaring there was nothing wrong with the birthday candles Chuck had prepared for Alex's birthday.
As such, the troublemaker once again lit the candles and gave his roommate a thumbs-up.
"Okay, time for the real deal," Chuck declared. "Are you all ready?!"

"Then let's start!"
Dim Dim took out a little music box from its storage ring and twisted the key a couple of times.
The moment the familiar tune started playing, Alex's friends all sang together.
