Shouts of anger, resentment, frustration, and helplessness spread inside the snowy forest as the Demons fell to the traps that the two had prepared for them.
Alex and Fran were greatly disadvantaged when it came to numbers, but they didn't lose when it came to cunning.
They used every trick that they knew, including using poison and illusion to kill and trick their enemies.
However, some of the Demons were truly powerful and were able to shrug off the damage they received from the traps without getting seriously injured.
They had locked on to their real targets and ran after them with determination.
"Alex, those three are strong," Fran said as she peeked through their enemies from Alex's collar.
