Orsted had already sensed the monster's presence in the water, a monster stronger than the Black Goliath he'd faced before.
Given the heavy moisture of the Water City, Amphisbaena was the likely culprit.
Everyone held their breath, eyes gleaming as they stared at the churning lake surface, ignoring the trembling ground.
Except for Chigusa, Ouka, and the other Takemikazuchi member, who were baffled by the excitement.
"Lady Lili said it might be Amphisbaena?" Chigusa murmured.
"But why are they thrilled? That's a Level 5 Monster Rex! Aside from Lord Orsted, no one in our group can take it down!"
Ouka and the other member shared her confusion.
They'd heard the Hestia Familia defeated Goliath, but Amphisbaena was on another level.
Even with Orsted present, why were the others so eager?

The lake's ripples grew violent, and a massive blue head emerged, followed by a red one, both draconic and clad in hard, shell like scales.
The creature, over 20 meters long and 10 meters wide, rivaled the Goliath Orsted had faced on the 18th floor.
Its white scaled body exuded a solemn menace, its eyes locking onto the group with wild, destructive intent.
Amphisbaena, the Monster Rex of the 27th floor, had appeared.
"Lord Orsted, leave this to Lili and the others. No need for you to step in," Lili said, turning to him with fierce determination, her tone leaving no room for debate.
The Hestia familia, along with Naaza and her group, looked to Orsted.
Chigusa, Ouka, and their companion stared, a bit stunned.
A Monster Rex, decided so casually?
"Handle it," Orsted said with a faint smile, unfazed.
"Oh! Everyone, let's go!" Lili shouted, rallying the group.
A surge of mana rippled through the air.
"Such intense magic fluctuations, far beyond what we saw earlier," Chigusa murmured, awestruck by the visible waves of power.
"Chigusa, move!" Ouka's voice snapped her out of it.
Lili and the others were already charging Amphisbaena.
Ouka roared, gripping his axe and following, with Chigusa quickly joining, determined to keep up despite facing the Monster Rex.
"Is this really okay?" Ryuu asked Orsted, hesitant to act after he stopped her.
"No problem. Let Lili and the others handle it. It's perfect for their growth," Orsted said, smiling.
To others, Amphisbaena was a fearsome Monster Rex, but to the Hestia familia, it was a treasure trove of excelia.
Defeating it would provide half the excelia needed for their next ranknup. This expedition might complete the rest.
Ryuu fell silent, trusting Orsted's judgment.
He wouldn't let his Familia come to harm. If danger arose, he'd intervene instantly.
Amphisbaena noticed the charging group but dismissed them, raising its heads to unleash a deafening roar that echoed through the Water City.
Experienced adventurers recognized it as Amphisbaena's call but couldn't pinpoint its floor.
Some adventurers, wary of the monster, fled to the 28th floor's safe zone.
Others, intrigued, led their groups toward the roar's source.
Back at the lake, Amphisbaena's blue head opened its maw, unleashing a fierce breath attack toward Elenior and the others.
Without Orsted's defensive magic items, it could've caused serious injury, though not fatal, so the protective items wouldn't activate.
Seconds after the breath fired, blue lightning and red flames struck it from both sides, detonating it in a roaring explosion that shook the waterfall.
"I won't let you hurt Elenior and the others!" Eina said with a faint smile, having unleashed the lightning.
The flames came from Lili.
"They blocked Amphisbaena's breath. The magic of that half elf and pallum is incredible," Ryuu said, eyes wide.
"Thanks for the compliment," Orsted said, smiling, then glanced to his right.
"What are you doing here?"
