After a few days of the ship's arrival in the Suncrest Kingdom, eight of the nine key surviving students were all released, as their interrogations were largely complete and the authorities had pieced together what had happened.
Though many gaps remained, for example, the three kings could not think of anything that the subordinate minor kingdoms could possess that could have caught the interest of the Ghost race. The loyal spies and individuals in positions of power placed within the minor kingdoms by the great kingdoms were either eliminated or had betrayed the kings at once.
The most curious thing, perhaps, was how the personnel of the minor kingdoms had been able to break away from the oaths of Prime Nexus. Was it the ghost race that helped them on this? They did not know.
