Axel raised his hand and greeted with a smile, "What's up, Taser? How are you, man?"
It was almost like he was greeting a long-lost friend. Yet, despite his smiling face, the murderous look in his eyes told a different story. Why would it not? This was the very person who had once schemed against him, to tarnish his name and reputation, making his rune tools look pathetic.
Taser crawled backward in fear. Axel was now a 2nd-phase Seeker, and the subtle killing intent emanating from him was more than enough to send chills down the spine of Taser. But then another detail registered in Taser's brain. His eyes widened in disbelief. As he muttered in terror,
"The runic eyes, how can you have the runic eyes? How is that possible? No wonder, no wonder you were so good, damn bastard."
