He had gotten used to stacking buffs lately and almost forgot his earlier combat state. He steadied himself and spoke aloud.
"Ecological Corrosion is just a wide-area support skill. The real the Lord damage has always been me."
"And besides, it's only slower. I can just make myself faster."
It was the first time he had activated Second Phase not because he could not win, but because he was too irritated. That just meant he would hit harder later.
The Black Dora sensed something wrong and widened its eyes. Inside its body, unbearable heat began to rise, as if a sun had ignited within, radiating fierce, scorching beams. For Belial, this temperature was only a prelude, and it kept climbing.
Energy surged through his body and refracted outward through Photon Reflection Shield, roasting the interior. If his basic particles had slowed, he would simply push them into a higher gear. Molecular motion acceleration began.
The slowing restraint was gradually broken. Sunlight pierced the rotten swamp, and the energy stored during stagnation erupted in an instant. Blazing heat spread as a faint solar image appeared behind him.
Belial entered his customized Second Phase. Compared to when he beat King Ghidorah, this form was far stronger, since his base power had doubled. His surface temperature reached five hundred thousand degrees, radiating outward, far hotter than a real sun's surface.
Every inch of light on his body was equivalent to releasing Spiral Heat Ray nonstop.
"Super Spiral Fusion Reaction Beam."
With a beat of his wings, he spewed searing white light from his mouth, while lightning-like coronal beams fired from his wing tips. All of them converged on a single point.
The planet's surface tore open, leaving a massive hole the size of a The Continent plate. Melted, magma-like blood poured down as an earth-shaking scream echoed.
"What are you screaming for? If you have that much energy, you'd better talk more when I interrogate you later!"
"In any case, take this punch first!"
After activating Second Phase, Belial's power began to surge again and again, rising at a violent pace, and even his thoughts filled with pure killing intent and dominance. At this moment, he was so overwhelmingly strong that just looking at him made one's mouth run dry. He calmly evaluated himself and said that this stage probably let him fight ten versions of his former self, maybe even a few more.
While calculating how many past selves he could defeat, he released another wave of internal radiation. Intense light and heat like a solar flare burst outward, burning and evaporating the incoming tides inblockbuster. The entire living planet let out a horrifying scream as countless bloodshot eyes opened across its surface.
Inside the planet, the searing heat was not just physical damage. It was a direct and brutal blow to the soul itself. Almost instantly, it pushed its Authority to the limit, trying to slow everything down and block the damage, aiming to reach a state where it could never be touched.
Belial did not just pour out power from one spot. He rampaged through its interior, smashing straight through, and everything in his path was evaporated and refined away. At the same time, massive blockbuster Rift spread across the planet's crust, with lava erupting from within, as if its Authority had failed.
It had not failed at all. It was simply that Belial had accelerated molecular motion to such an extreme that even under this negative effect, he could still pin it down and beat it without mercy. In his estimation, this thing was actually quite strong, even slightly stronger than King Ghidorah before.
If this were his pre-upgrade self, it would have taken real effort to deal with it, and its strength would have been worthy of a boss. Unfortunately for it, those conditions no longer applied. Now, under his hands, it could only take a beating.
"You are pretty strong, but too bad. We Tokusatsu do not play fair," he said casually. "Especially us Godzilla. Skip one movie and the numbers jump ten times or more, so I cannot control my strength too well. When you are about to die, remember to scream louder."
After charging wildly through Hedorah's body and bombarding it with Heat Ray, he complained like this and then unleashed another full internal radiation burst. Hedorah screamed even more miserably, since having something like grenades explode inside your body was unbearable. Worse, the extreme heat and lingering power clinging to the wounds were difficult to repair, making even slowing the damage hard.
It barely gathered strength to counterattack, but those attacks aimed at the conceptual level were like mud sinking into the sea. Most of them did nothing at all, and the tentacles rushing in were destroyed by the searing heat before they could reach him. Inside, countless eyes and twisted mouths opened, then flashed with blood-red light as it used Blink.
That attack could annihilate the moon completely, reducing even basic particles into Shard. Yet it was effortlessly deflected by the prism-like Photon Reflection Shield surrounding Belial. He glanced at it and returned the favor with equal force.
A high-temperature super-spiral Fusion Reaction Beam blasted out. Hedorah screamed even more terribly, its surface glowing red as huge chunks burned into charcoal and peeled away. Hearing it still scream so forcefully made Belial annoyed, since this thing was truly durable to survive such bombardment.
If this dragged on, Hedorah would eventually collapse under the chaos inside, but Belial did not want to waste time. He decided to end it decisively. "I will just go all out and settle this."
He began to gather power slowly, pulling all his energy together. A corona appeared around him, condensing terrifying heat. Red light spread across his body as the temperature soared past seven hundred thousand degrees and kept rising.
He compressed all his strength through mental control, focusing it into his lower body and tail. As he raised his tail, compressed magnetic fields formed multiple sun-like Sun Wheel rings, accelerating into a massive Magic Array at the tip. Then he swung it out.
Divine Severing Thunder. Modified: Burning version. Burning Mode. Charged Particle Acceleration. Plasma Cutting X Crystal Detonation.
The gigantic living planet let out a shrill scream, every mouth howling in agony. Its eyes bulged with bloodshot veins, and blood poured from its body under the overwhelming pain. It could not believe it was feeling something like this.
Red light surged and then tore everything apart with Rend. The blazing radiance cut through anything in its way, whetherCorruption terrain or slowed space, nothing could stop it. By the time it realized something was wrong, even fully activating Authority was too late.
A flash of cutting light shot out and flew toward Void. More unbelievably, across over half the planet's circumference, a burning Rift was carved open. The thick crust was sliced almost cleanly in two, without hesitation.
The cut was smooth, and the terrifying heat spread along the wound, eroding the entire surface. A massive abyssal Rift split the planet's outer layers, erupting with countless Crack Canyon that glowed like lava. From within, a meteor wrapped in Sun Wheel flew out.
Belial exhaled, and the molten patterns between his scales slowly faded. The burning form dropped to low power, since that attack had exhausted him. That unique plasma-cutting Divine Severing Thunder had surpassed even his previous Red Lotus Dragon.
One strike had nearly cut the planet in half, yet it was still incredibly tough. He looked back and saw the massive wound resisting repair but not fully collapsing. It was still trying to fuse itself back together.
"Things like Hedorah are hard to kill, which is normal," he said. "I thought I could cut you cleanly in two, but part of the power was spent breaking through that strange resistance."
Its durability was terrifying, making it the strongest opponent he had faced here so far. If one strike was not enough, then he would just strike again. He was not speedrunning anything.
Hedorah tried to suppress its injuries by spreading the heat across its body and using Authority to reduce the pain. The result was that its massive eyes burned and burst with Rend, popping into Shard. Its black, muddy body boiled and churned like overheated water.
Vast oceanic regions boiled from the residual heat at the fracture. Even worse, the suppressed Crystal began emerging across its entire body, feeding on the spreading energy. The ecology rapidly grew, forcing it to divert even more Authority to suppress these strange growths.
As it struggled, it looked up and felt its heart turn cold. That cursed sun had flown back again. It could not believe he was still fighting.
Belial once again activated Ecological Corrosion and continued firing super-spiral Fusion Reaction Beam, each blast carving moon-sized craters into the planet's surface. The sun crashed down, and crimson Crystal forests erupted where it landed, reflecting the solar light. This was a specially tuned accelerated-molecule Crystal ecology made just for this target.
"You forced me to use so many skills, which is impressive," he said. "Not because of strength, but because you are annoying. It is fine. I will just beat you until it is done."
Another familiar wave of Crystal ecology spread everywhere, followed by roaring ecological Clone standing up. On its own, Hedorah might have endured, but with Belial and several other massive entities attacking together, it finally broke down. Its body began to decompose rapidly, releasing vast resentment.
